Exceptional hotel with an amazing view over Elounda. We stayed only two nights but wished we could have stayed longer. It’s nice and quiet, very different to the Chania and the Western side of Crete. The people at the hotel are lovely, breakfast was great. Would definitely go back if I come back to Crete.

Wonderful location with panoramic helicopter view over the Elounda bay. Spacious & comfortable room, nicely decorated with full amenities. Clean, hospitable, discreet & courteous personnel. Its location (including the embedded culinary Terrassa restaurant) is an oasis of accommodation, unique view, & delicious tastes. We thank Kostas & Anna, Despina & the serving team for the wonderful week we spent at their premises.

Perfect location to unwind. Walking distance into town is just a few minutes, while the beach is just across the street. Morning sun on the balcony with a great view over the sea.

How friendly and helpful the staff was

We loved our stay at Hiona Seaside in Elounda. It was an ideal, convenient, and safe location on the ocean front boardwalk. Easy to walk every where in town. Bus stop, Taxi service, Laundry service near by. The staff were amazing, attentive, friendly, efficient, resourceful and hard working. Our Kudos to Manos, Fiona, Lynn, Katerina, and Janice a wonderful Chef who cook delicious and affordable meals.

It was a wonderful stay at contemporary waterfront villa located at perfect location just steps from the sea. I suggest waking up early to see a sunset and meditate while drinking espresso or having a glass of wine at night time. Either way, nothing would stop you to have an amazing time at Elounda villa. Unmatched hospitality and always text away from anything i needed, Vasya made sure i was being taking cared off during my stay.

Maria and the entire hotel staff were exceptional! Maria went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing—she is truly one in a million, and we feel so blessed to have met her. The breakfast was outstanding, and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Maria also recommended a wonderful five-hour boat trip from Agios Nikolaos to Spinalonga Island, which included a delicious lunch and swimming—an unforgettable experience! This was the first hotel we stayed at in Greece, and what an amazing way to start our honeymoon. You will not regret booking a stay at Mare Hotel—highly recommend!

The location was fabulous, plenty of things to do. If need be you can take a dip walking right out of your apartment area. The sea was magnificent. Must visit Spinalonga and take the 4hr little train ride. It's a place for romance and relaxation. Nothing to worry about, the host Marianna takes care of everything. Great value for money.

Location is great, facilities are in very good condition, clean and tidy. I'd recommend this accommodation to every traveler, great option in the area.

So cute! The most unique & favorite place we stayed in all of Crete. All of the traditional touches. Sleeps up to 6. Walking distance from downtown Elounda, cute pub & restaurant in the neighborhood right on the corner. Shower was modern, which was nice. Balcony & view of the harbor are lovely. Espresso machine was a nice touch for the morning. Nice walk to dinner downtown. Eat at Ferryman.

Quiet, comfortable, great location, amazing view to the sea. Angelika is a wonderful host who was readily available if we needed anything.

Emilia was extremely welcoming and helpful during the stay. She had some good recommendations for checking out around the town since Elounda is so small.

A very pleasant experience! The place is new, beautiful, and very clean. The rooms are spacious, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to feel comfortable. I especially loved the private little outdoor terrace – the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. In addition, the hotel has a lovely pool area and good dining options, which make the stay even more enjoyable. Altogether, it creates a truly relaxing and high-quality experience. This place definitely goes on my list of favorites, and I would happily visit again!

Great apartment, well located with a view over the harbour and the boats. Two supermarkets and a bakery close by. Comfortable bed.

The room was modern and clean, centraly located, 2min walk from rhe main square and seafront restaurants. Breakfast was great and the host very friendly.
