Very nice stay! We had a very warm welcome. Everything was great, nice surprise for our honeymoon, decoration in the room was amazing. The dinner excellent, very fresh and tasty food. Nelson was very helpful, he arranged transportation for us. The staff really kind and polite.

5 star accommodation, direct access to the beach, and an amazing pool and open area.

It's probably the most weird homestay we have tried. The whole property looks like a jungle. Exceptionally maintained. If only they could clean the pool more often. We arrived in the afternoon and wanted to go for a swim but the pool was literally filled with insects.

Calm surroundings of the countryside (the passing train only adds to the charm!). Great breakfast! A very nice welcome and great attention to our needs.

The Sea View Villa is a stunning getaway that offers breathtaking views of the ocean. The room (king suit with sea view) was amazing, beautiful, luxury, clean. The staff attentive, smiling, always notes details about your preferences and makes your stay so comfortable and unforgettable. For example, when we stayed in swimming pool chairs for a long time, they moved the board with dinner options there (so you do not need to ask for a menu). This was so attentive from their side. We had 2 guys in our villa only for us. No other people were there. You feel like a king)

Let’s start with acknowledging the fact Sri Lankan’s climate is challenging for property owners. Combination of enormous humidity and high temperatures creates perfect conditions for mold growth and rust. Our hotel did great here with rooms and toilets being clean, sheets being fresh and pleasant to the touch, large comfortable beds and nice swimming pool. Everything according to the description from the booking.com We took some ayurveda treatments and these proved to be remarkable. The doctor not only served great massage, but also provided recommendations and some magic potion which hopefully cuts some age :-) Skipping ayurveda part would have been a huge mistake! Then food. Breakfasts were the best we had in Sri Lanka. Fresh fruits, omelettes, sousages - all served at the large, pleasant veranda with garden view. We also had dinner and that exceeded our expectations. Definitely best springrols on the island. Juicy, fresh red snapper, not to forget various types of rice and curry. In Bentota one gets excellent clean beaches. it is 500m from the hotel, really easy walk. if really lazy tuk-tuks are everywhere and would cost like nothing. And last but not least. The level of helpfulness of the staff was above the limit. Manager helped us with building our trip across the island, organized bus with the driver for our group and helped with finding and booking hotels on our trip. All the prices he got for us were better than the ones from the app! amazing experience! Having said that- great value for money, perfect to start your Sri Lankan’s adventure.

Stuff is amazing . Swimming pool is clean and big. Breakfast is tasty. Rooms are big. I would definitely recommend it

Spacious room, good Wifi, nice breakfast and dinner available. The property is in a calm area, but still quite close to the beach. The hosts were very friendly and lovely, super recommended. The location is not super easy to find for the first time, but I called the host and he sent a tuk tuk to pick me up from the train station for free :)

What a beautiful property in the Bentota surrounds. I came here due to the glowing reviews and yet was still blown away. The rooms are so grand, comfortable and gorgeous gardens. Nishanti and her husband are genuinely gorgeous souls who want for all of their guests to have the best experience. They put so much thought into absolutely everything from welcoming you, to the presentation of the rooms, helping you get around town and with recommendations and a Devine breakfast on the balcony in the morning. I went out to clean the tuk tuk id hired and Nishanti came to give me a hand just to share in conversation and share the workload. It was truely the most memorable stay I had in my two weeks in Sri Lanka. Until next time! Miss you already!

the rooms were amazing the view was incredible and the food and staff spectacular. special mention to Mario and Jack the dogs who wer fun to play with. the monkeys beautiful birds were amazing the spa massage was all class and the chef and boys working there were fun and always smiles on their faces. food was amazing for all meal times. thanks to all we will never forget it

Gold Sand Resort was exceptionally good. Located at prime location with easy access to beach, restaurant, nightlife. It has a feel both of Village, Resort, Tourist, Home all in all. Host Anurah was very friendly, jovial person accessible and helpful. A must visit 'Gold Sand Resort" - value for money.

The place has a nice garden with a terrace, few chairs around to rest, clean swimming pool. Sri Lankan breakfast was tasty. Great location. The beach was not too busy. That was great. We had long walks on the beach. There is a family restaurant in the neighborhood acros the street, serving loocal food for good value. The manager of the Villa recomended this place and was worth going. The city is not far.

The staff were so friendly and were always ready to please with a smile. The Ayurvedic spa was professional and fantastic. The restaurant was delicious and offered many varying cuisines. Exceptional staff!
