Red Coconut Villa is a small, owner-run boutique villa in Bentota, just steps from the beach. With only three individually designed rooms, a 22-metre pool and a tropical garden, it never feels crowded or loud — whether you're here for a quiet couple's escape or a relaxed family stay. Children love the space to roam and swim, while the calm, unhurried pace still gives everyone room to switch off. The heart of the villa is 7 Tables, our reservation-only restaurant led by Chef Aruna de Silva, blending Japanese precision, Italian finesse and fresh Sri Lankan seafood — each evening's menu prepared individually and in limited quantity. Red Coconut Villa is also available for private events, birthdays and small celebrations of up to 50 guests in the tropical garden.
Red Coconut is not a standard hotel — it's something we built ourselves, piece by piece. We love hosting because every guest brings a new story, and we enjoy sharing our space, our food and the atmosphere we've created here. Whether it's a couple looking to slow down or a family watching their kids discover the garden and pool for the first time, we love seeing our space come alive in different ways. Between the garden, the pool and long evenings at the table, life slows down a little — and that's exactly the point.
Located just 100 meters from Bentota Beach in a calm and green area, away from the busy main strip. Restaurants, beach cafés and shops are reachable within a few minutes by tuk tuk. Perfect for guests looking for peace, space and privacy while staying close to everything.
