Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

I like primarily the location and service of this property. Fazeel and his staff are very helpful and accommodating. The room is clean and very spacious with good WiFi, lighting, and air-conditioning. Their restaurant offers tasty and very affordable food.

Everything was amazing. Hassan the host is the best. We booked the place at the last minute and we were able to check in right away. Hassan made sure we have everything all the time and even after we left. The location is great right on the beach. Perfect place to relax. Super clean and great service. Would definitely come again. Highly recommend, best hotel in all Sri Lanka.

Aqua Blue is right next to the beach, like 50 m away, and in a more quiet location. If you go to the main street, you can sometimes see the 'local' elephant in the marsh nearby. The place is clean, has AC and everything you need, even a hammock to chill in. Basheer is always there to help you with pretty much everything you need. The breakfast is very good and the cappuccino, one of the best in Sri Lanka. I totally recommend Aqua Blue!

Amazing accommodation and hospitality! Comfortable room with good AC, good mattress and water pressure. Solid wifi supports video calls. Fully equipped kitchen and private fridge in the room was awesome. Perfect location - its on the quieter side of town, with a general store across the street and a few minutes walk to the main part of town. Kindest hosts in all of sri lanka that can help you with anything you need.

We loved our stay at Jungle House in Arugam Bay. The vibe and atmosphere were amazing; it was always such a joy to come back after a long day or after a surf session. We stayed for two weeks and it truly felt like home. Laura is incredible, so kind and welcoming, and her son made the place feel even more special. The room was cleaned daily, which was a huge plus, and the whole property is kept very clean and comfortable. The communal areas are cozy and perfect for relaxing. The garden gives such a peaceful jungle feeling, and it was so nice to just sit and unwind there. Overall, Jungle House has such a unique soul. it’s not just a guesthouse, it’s an experience. It's also perfect for sustainable travelers.

Close to the beach and easy to access anywhere. Helpful staff and always very smile. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Beach front restaurant with bar. Cocktail was superb. Vale for the stay. Wifi connection was superb speed. Definitely we will come back.

Amazing location away from the hustle and bustle of Aruguam Bay. Clean and nice rooms with good A/C which is much needed considering how hot it gets during the summer months. Great service. All of the staff is super welcoming and you always feel properly taken care of. Good breakfast. Would recommend anyone going to Aruguam Bay to stay at the Danish Villa!

Lovely accommodation with a superb location. Everything was within walking distance, with plenty of great restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby, as well as quick and easy access to the beach. It was the perfect base for exploring the area without needing any transport. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. They were always happy to help and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was plentiful and offered a great variety of options to choose from, including fresh fruit, coffee, and tea. There was something for everyone, and it was a great way to start each day. We also took advantage of the laundry service offered by the accommodation. Although there was an additional fee, it was very reasonably priced, quick, and extremely convenient during our travels. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area. Great location, excellent hospitality, and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
