Vacation Rentals in Tamarin

The bed is very comfortable. Room is well equipped, clean and spacious. We felt at ease, slept well and enjoyed our stay at Le Gite du Bonheur very much. We rented our car with Le Gite which has great options for their rental. Well located to discover the West and South of the Island. Lots of hiking options and sea excursions/ activities next to the guest house. The Host is Great and will do everything possible to assist. Thank you Cody for the great hospitality. We recommend Le Gite du Bonheur and if we come to Mauritius, we will be back!

It’s a perfect little spot , close to everything you need. The family who owns it makes you feel like part of the family. Food for the soul! Loved it and will be back!

Location, comfort, cleanliness

Large, comfortable apartment with all the facilities. Rooms are large, and the kitchen / living room area is well sized. Responsive and accommodating host, thanks Warren! Well-working appliances including A/C. The outside patio was pleasant to sit on. However the real jewel of this place is the pool and beach front area! The pool is large and well tempered. Trees with flocks of birds provide ample shade and entertainment. From the pool, you can walk directly into the ocean and go snorkeling in the shallow reefy area.

The property is unbelievable! You can find anything you want , really relaxing and comfortable! Atmosphere around pool is another level. On roof you can see sunrise and after sunset see a lot of stars! Easy parking and easy to find! Recommend for everyone!

Very cozy villa will fantastic outdoor facilities. We enjoyed having breakfast every day in a garden surrounded by palm trees and birds. Beach is just 100 meters away from the backyard.

The landlord met us at the property, actually waited for us showing up late. gave us the tour and we enjoyed our time here very much. There was a bit of traffic noise but the ocean waves took care of that. We were straight across the street from beach, there are vendors with yummy meals, and beautiful scenery. The beach had people but was certainly not crowded, we found our place there quiet and delightful. Our patio was nice for sundowners. We had plenty of towels, and toilet paper as well as a very well supplied kitchen with utensils and appliances. Coupled with a washer and dryer, we lacked for nothing. We really wish we could have stayed longer. Look for us again.

The reception/staff's uniform/interiors/pool area/entrance welcome zone/housekeeping a room itself and literally everything are just beautiful and as if it's new or recently opened hotel❤️ P.S. but the are several moments giving me a feeling as I'm not having a rest but I'm a prisoners in these beautiful premises (kindly read below the negative moments)

We had an amazing stay at Golden Square Villa! The place is beautifully maintained, very clean, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The private pool was definitely a highlight, and the rooftop terrace made evenings extra special. The villa is spacious and well-equipped, making it ideal for families or groups. The host was extremely helpful, responsive, and made sure everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, privacy, and a great overall experience. Would definitely comeback!

Had absolutely everything we needed. Modern, comfortable, clean and stylish. The outdoor eating area was huge and perfect for eating breakfast and dinner. The elevator was helpful for moving luggage. We actually liked the tiny quiet beach better than the larger popular beaches in the area and enjoyed sundowners every day by the water. Everything about the place was perfect and the location could not be better!

The Host was very helpful. you would ask him anything and he would assist gladly. The staff kept the apartment clean at all times and they were friendly.

Beautiful, spacious two-bedroom apartment just a short walk from Tamarin Beach. The balcony was a lovely spot to unwind, and the apartment came fully equipped with everything we needed for our week long stay. We appreciated how comfortable and relaxing the space was after busy days out exploring. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing useful local information and quickly addressing a maintenance issue we encountered. Overall, a fantastic stay and would come back again.

The location is excellent as it is central to many activities places at reasonnable car distance. The swimming pool and the garden are amazing and relaxing. The view (especially early morning) is magnificent and you have a great access to small beaches. The appartment is the perfect set up for 8 people with a bathroom in each room, and you can park your car inside. Staff is very nice and smilling but you need to speak french or creole if you want to understand most of their saying.

Jacqui is a great host. The location is excellent for discovering all the beaches, be it North or South. The place is quiet, and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The dogs are super cute too - especially the zfg older one :)

This is one of the most charming places we’ve ever stayed at, with loads of details that we truly appreciated. The layout was perfect. And you don’t even have to step out onto the porch to watch the sunset. We stayed here during our honeymoon to discover Mauritius (after 3 nights at a resort), so having the provided car was also highly appreciated!
