Tam Studio proudly opened its doors in June 2016 with the goal of offering guests a warm, comfortable, and authentic stay in the heart of La Gaulette. As a local resident born and raised in the village, I have always been passionate about sharing the beauty, culture, and relaxed lifestyle of the area with visitors from around the world. After a long search for the perfect location, I finally discovered this ideal spot just five minutes from my home, allowing me to personally welcome and assist guests whenever needed. The studio was created to provide a peaceful and convenient retreat close to the lagoon, beaches, hiking trails, and the famous Le Morne Brabant. With a friendly atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and local hospitality, Tam Studio is designed to help guests feel at home while enjoying the natural beauty and charm of Mauritius.

Tam Studio is located in the peaceful village of La Gaulette, a perfect base for guests who want to explore the natural beauty and attractions of southwest Mauritius. The neighbourhood is known for its relaxed atmosphere, friendly locals, and stunning mountain and lagoon views. Many popular tourist attractions are situated nearby. One of the favourite activities among our guests is hiking the famous Le Morne Brabant, a UNESCO World Heritage Site offering breathtaking panoramic views. Several beautiful beaches, including the crystal-clear lagoons around Le Morne, are only about a 10-minute drive from the studio and are perfect for swimming, sunbathing, kitesurfing, and water activities. Guests also enjoy visiting nearby attractions such as Chamarel Seven Colored Earth Geopark, waterfalls, nature parks, and scenic viewpoints. A variety of local restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and takeaway spots are conveniently located close to Tam Studio, allowing visitors to experience authentic Mauritian cuisine and fresh seafood.
