Overall a great deal for the price! The shower is strong and hot. Beds are comfy and clean. Staff members are friendly. There are bus stops (there's no sign, but the bus will stop) on the bigger road nearby in three minutes walk.

Francisko was an excellent manager. The rooms were great, the pool lovely, and breakfast good. The property is well away from downtown so it is quiet. A cab or Uber will get you downtown in 10 minutes. Bonuses 1. Dine at Cafe Mercedes which is a 2 minute walk from the hotel - it’s fantastic. 2. Was up the hill past that restaurant and you can hike on trails overlooking the city. Aaron

The hotel is just like a museum, colorful and beautiful. Billy is welcoming and friendly to share the history of the place and Guanajuato. The restaurant recommendations are helpful. I really enjoyed the stay here.

The location was perfect: literally three minutes from the main square, Jardin de la Union. The building is a gorgeous colonial house where you can imagine yourself living in the past, but with all modern comfort. We were there for a short time but I could see us cooking in the very large colonial kitchen and eating in the colonial formal dining room. Living room had three comfy sofas and a smart TV connected to the internet. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, and the bedrooms are all separate so there is no hearing others sleeping in another room. Last but not least the views and the pool: both were gorgeous. We all also liked the many plants around the property. The decor is very upscale with great colonial and contemporary art. Excellent value for the price.

Our hosts, Ken and Jose, went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. They took us to the grocery store, and they took us out on sightseeing trips to nearby towns and attractions. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated. It has a full-size kitchen with a full-size washer and dryer as well. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on in my trips to Mexico. There is also a pool, a hot tub, and a sauna. I will definitely return.

Great location, comfortable and spacious room with coffee maker, fridge, microwave. Lovely terrace as well as comfortable indoor sitting area

We stayed for 4 nights. We arrived to the city by 6am and because our room was available, we were able to check in early which was a great first impression. No reception—just a key code which made the process faster and easier. When someone arose, they were quick to answer questions and offer assistance. The room was so nice and spacious. We opened all 8 windows for a nice cross breeze. The bed was a California king, comfortable, and a variety of thickness blankets to pair with the weather. The balcony out back was small but offered a great view. Outside the front door was the rooftop patio which offered more amazing views of the city. The location was unmatched. It’s right on the Main Street of downtown and a 3 minute walk to the center square.

Good location, very cheap, same day booking and checking in. The drinking water was completely emptied when we checked in so we had to go out at late in the night to buy water, but the staff were responding on whatsapp when we told them the next morning, and replace it the afternoon. Overall, good for short notice stay and for saving money, but I won't choose here for a well-planned vacation.

Rooms are spacious and the view was spectacular breakfast was a plus

Everything was good, and the personnel had really nice attention. Facilities were so clean and it was located in the downtown of the City.

The host was most hospitable and the facilities great despite the remodeling. Fine kitchen, easily accessible bathrooms, not too far from center. Loved this place
