Breakfast was wonderful. A variety of options both hot and cold.Food was yummy, fruit was fresh. The chicken noodle soup was remarkable!!! We stayed for a total of 3 nights, not in a row, at different times and it was like going back home, it was safe and comfortable.

Breakfast was awesome, very considerate of them. The location is a bit far, but still quite close to the city center, considering the quality of the place.

It is a beautiful quiet setting. The rooms are well decorated and spacious. The meals were outstanding.

Such a beautiful place. Quiet and very comfortable and peaceful. Exceptionally breakfast and dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff! Loved it!

Owner of the homestay was away traveling, but Eliya and Cliff took really good care of us. Can’t stress enough how nice these guys were.. very very warm and chill guys! Room had a nice authentic African shack look and feel to it and as everybody else mentioned here, food was amazing!

The place was very homey,cozy and comfortable .It truly felt like a home away from home.The manager and staff were kind and always ready to help.The manager was amazing.She recommended good places to get food and even ordered it for us.When we needed transport she arranged it within minutes.She is very friendly and professional.Everything was easy and convenient.I highly recommend this place especially if you are traveling with a child.

Joyce and her family were absolutely fabulous. They came to the rescue after another lodge had cancelled on us upon check in. We had to make a last minute booking at 9pm to have a place to sleep for then ight, and Joyce welcomed us with open arms. She even prepared a very delicious dinner for us. The rooms were stylish and memorable, and all rooms had hot water. The property looked very beautiful - a nice big yard with the views of the jungle. There is also a very sweet pup. We are hoping to return to Songota Falls Lodge again in the future, and we highly recommend it to all travelers.

Hillary the owner has excellent customer service. We got lost and he took his time to come for us 3km away. He went ahead to upgrade our rooms at no cost.

in every way this small out of the way, hotel is simple, but elegant. Very relaxed vibe. Great People. No Hurry. construction of the new rooms is underway., I was allowed to use that future rooftop dining area to film and view all the birds. The Hotel has a very nice bird list which I am helping develop. From the Bulbul to the beautiful Variable Sunbird, and the large tortoise, all the vibes are calm and friendly. For any trip to Tanzania, this may be the perfect small venue where you should consider beginning your journey.

Excellent views, quiet neighborhood

The private room is clean and spacious. Everything works, including hot shower and wifi.

We have just left Arusha after a short but extremely fulfilling stay at Safari Villa. Prior to our 36 hour visit we had great communication with George. We were met from our late night flight at the airport, warmly greeted at the Villa and shown to our immaculately clean room. Food was great and hospitality exceptional. Brian (brother of George) spent the day with us guiding us to various sites in Arusha. Following this we were invited to share in a Communion celebration for George’s daughter. Two of our group participated, dined on the rooftop of a lovely hotel with George’s family and friends, witnessed the love and affection shown toward the beautifully dressed daughter. Two of our group stayed back and enjoyed a home cooked Swahili meal and the warmth of an evening campfire. Arusha was great! The hospitality and experiences provided by the host family of the Safari Villa went above and beyond our expectations. It was a rich and rewarding experience.

I stayed at Mazzola for 4 nights with my 8-year-old daughter. It was a lovely place with a spacious living room & dining room and well-equipped kitchen with basic food supplies in stock. A short 15-minute tuktuk ride to town and you can easily use Bolt to get around. The host, mr. Innocent, was always on standby to help us with literally anything we needed, from arranging tours to national parks at fair prices to recommending places to eat or visit in Arusha town. He has gone beyond and above to make our trip to Arusha as fun and meaningful as possible. His professionalism and genuine care for the guests truely shone through, and thanks to him, our trip to Arusha will remain as one of the most memorable trips in TZ.

We have stayed with Victoria and Martin before. They are so accommodating we look forward to return again soon. They are most amazing hosts and Victoria’s cooking is delicious!

The food is fantastic and the space is the definition of cozy. We arrived quite late and were still attended to like family. We were the only guests which was a treat since this place is usually fully booked so that was special.

The Owner of the Hostel is a lovely guy who was very welcoming and helped us with a lot of stuff we had to organize. The rooms are big and comfortable. Everything was very clean. There is hot water in the shower. The garden and the little "Rooftop" are perfect to relax (if you don't travel in the rainy season like we did). The breakfast ist basic but good. For the price we paied I think it is one of the best hostels I ever stayed in. I would always come back to this place if I every stayed in Arsuha again.

A wonderful place to stay run by a sweet local family. ❤️ John and Victoria and the entire staff go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home and to help out with whatever we we need and truly make everyone feel like family. A perfect home away from home in a quiet and friendly neighborhood close to Arusha airport and Sable Square shopping center. Excellent value for the money. Clean and well attended and kept. Rooms are simple but very spacious, clean, and tasteful. Simple but tasty food. Safe and secure. Would definitely stay here again.

Mahali Muzuri is clean, comfortable, serene. I loved the peacefulness of the whole place and how close it was to IAA, where I went for a conference. Shammah is a lovely host and was very helpful.

I've been here 3 times now and I would only stay here in Arusha in future visits. After 5 weeks in the country, Gerald Anna and David are the best hosts that I have found in Tanzania. They treated me like a family member, Nothing was too much trouble for them, they really care for their guests.. They showed me some amazing spots in and around the town, lakes, waterfalls, local food, malls etc. They helped with everything from arranging cars, motorbike hire, safari, and much more. Hot Hot shower with good pressure. Nice environment. Will be back again. Thanks Guys.
