We spent several nights here and were struck by how serene everything was. The setting is lovely without being overly dramatic, and the evenings were particularly soothing. There was a private dinner by the beach one evening, which felt cozy and well-planned.

Great room, good restaurant, exceptional service, right in front of the beach. Would come any time.

We stayed at Zanzistar as a large family (grand-parents and two family sub-groups with many kids). The facilities are beautiful and give a wonderful beach holiday feel, it's secluded and quiet, with a beautiful pool and very well set-up eating spaces (both by the beach with a beach club and by the main area for dinner). The staff were very accomodating to our large food orders, early dinner hours, etc which was very appreciated. The family room was very pretty and comfortable.

Charming and quiet boutique hotel with 2 pools. The hotel is well maintained and extremely clean. The rooms are nicely decorated and the bed is very comfortable. Great water pressure (which is not always the case in the island). Delicious breakfast (I loved the avocado toasts). Only 1 minute away from the beach with nice bars / restaurants around. Also a lot of delicious local restaurants in the village only 10 minutes away by walk. The staff is really friendly and welcoming and helpful. Location is perfect it is 30 seconds away from the beach, everything is very clean. Staff is also top tier.

Olamanga was exactly what I needed. A wonderful property with sand everywhere, a gorgeous lounge area with pool and lush tropical surroundings that made it incredibly easy to just switch off and unwind. There are plenty of spots to lounge around the property, and I genuinely spent a lot of my three nights here simply enjoying the space rather than venturing out. Ralu and Lee who run the property are genuine, friendly, and supportive with any request. The staff are equally helpful and attentive. The in-house restaurant and bar serves meals throughout the day with a great cook, so you never feel the need to go far for food. My terrace room was a decent size with a very generous seating area and its own kitchenette, well equipped, clean, and provided with all the essentials. A lovely touch I didn't anticipate was Ralu's aromatherapy diffuser in the room. I didn't think much of it at first but after spending enough time there, the difference in ambience was genuinely noticeable and added to the overall sense of calm. The beach is a one-minute walk away and absolutely gorgeous, noticeably less crowded than other beaches on the island. In-house massage services can also be arranged. And if you love cats, two resident ones are always lounging around the property. Give them a few pets from me.

First of all, I want to thank Paola and her team for our fantastic vacation. Thanks to them, we felt right at home in this paradise. Now, about the location itself. There are 12 villa-apartments here. Some have one bedroom, some have two, which is convenient for families with children. The apartments are spacious and have a kitchen equipped with cooking utensils. There's even a blender for smoothies, which is great because ripe fruit is sold here. The residence has several generators in case of power outages. The Wi-Fi is decent. There are two excellent swimming pools and plenty of sun loungers. Breakfast is good: scrambled eggs, pancakes, pastries, toast, fruit, tea, coffee. The beach is a 3-minute walk away, but you can only swim during high tide. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely recommend this place!

Everything really, well located right on the beach. Beautiful space, feels like a boutique hotel. It is small & intimate, boasting about 7 villas I think meaning there’s never more than 7 groups of people. The space is cozy, rustic and modern all at once. The staff is very attentive, helpful & kind. The restaurant food was amazing especially the breakfast.

We wanted an intimate atmosphere that made you feel relaxed to the utmost. Your facility did not disappoint. Even though construction was ongoing, it did not cause too much of a bother. Thomas, the manager, was very accommodating. He made sure we were taken care of and addressed any issues that may have arisen immediately. The rooms were cleaned daily and promptly, and we loved the personal touches left on the bed with the towel design and fresh flowers. Samuel and the other wait staff, who worked in the morning, were an absolute pleasure to be served by. They were tested by certain individuals in the group, and yet they kept their composure with a smile and pleasant disposition. The evening wait staff was also very patient with the demands that were put before them. Vaul at the receptionist's desk was wonderful. The entire staff was kind, friendly, and enthusiastic about teaching me and anyone else who wanted to learn Swahili. Also, I would like to acknowledge that all the staff at this hotel have mastered the art of positive customer service, which speaks volumes to Manager Thomas's leadership style. He is the best. Thomas, thanks for taking the time to instruct my son on the proper way to do kite surfing using your kite to do so. It showed me that you paid attention to the little details and our potential interests. Because of your kindness and professionalism, If ever I return to Zanzibar, I will choose the Natural Garden Boutique Hotel. I will also recommend it to a colleague who will visit Zanzibar in June. One drawback that is the norm in Zanzibar is the excessive amount of flies that are present while eating. However, we ate lunch at the Rock restaurant and noticed a wooden device carved into the center of the dining table to catch flies. Having a meal at this restaurant was much more enjoyable due to the fly trap. Maybe consider adding a similar device in the kitchen, at the bar, and dining area.

We had a truly special stay at Jambiani Beach Villas in Zanzibar. The villa was beautifully designed with stunning interiors, semi-private pools, and breathtaking views from both the terrace and balcony. We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade, which made the experience even more memorable. The accommodation itself was so lovely that we skipped excursions just to enjoy the house and surroundings. Breakfast was excellent, and both the restaurant and room service were efficient, fast, and very attentive. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay and would highly recommend it.

It's basically an oasis of quietness with delicious Italian food next to this amazing stretch of Jambiani Beach on a paradise island.Service is excellent, staff is friendly and helpful.Owners present! A +

Everything was perfect! The villa was absolutely beautiful and right on the beach with a magnificent view of the ocean. The spacious, well designed pool and lovely huge patio overlooked the beach. Each room was pretty with en-suite bathroom. The kitchen had every amenity, wonderful coffee maker and coffee supplied. The fridge had drinks to purchase which was convenient. The breakfast included, entailed a lovely team who arrived at the hour we wanted and cooked a several course meal.

I love the cozy beachfront location

The room was very comfortable and functional, with a natural design. The bed was super comfy. The bathroom is specious. Located right in front of the beach with a small balcony. All the staff were very friendly and polite, with a laid back attitude. The setup of the common areas were open and welcoming. Breakfast was simple, tasty, super healthy and filling. The restaurant offers excellent food. These characteristics, definitely helped us to relax and enjoy our stay, the view, the food and the excellent smoothies offered.

Bahari feels like home. Simple as that. And I guess this pretty much says everything. Stefania and all the staff are very friendly, warm and welcoming. The location is incredible, right in front of the beach. For those who are looking for something more relaxed and away for the big resorts, this is the place. For now, I’m gonna keep crying ‘cause I’m still missing that jam at breakfast!

We adored our stay at Wow Beach House! Haji and his beautiful family were incredibly generous hosts!! Breakfast was amazing each morning on their gorgeous little patio. The prepared dinner was fabulous. And the room itself was huge, adorably decorated for our arrival, spotless, and incredibly comfortable as a retreat in hot/rainy weather. We loved it so much that we spent a bit too much time there when we should have been exploring haha! Thank you, Haji and family, for your hospitality and kindness! Every morning, we did indeed say “WOWWW!” 😃

Everything. The pool, the ocean right Infront of you. Every bedroom had en suite. Calister was an amazing host from before we checked in she checked up on us because we were running late and gave us directions to the villa. She gave us a welcome card water and fruits. Throughout our whole stay she was amazing and good to us. She provided us with a private chef that came to the house and cooked. Such fresh and amazing tasting food. This is the best villa we have ever stayed in. She even had couple board games we could play in the evening. We also felt very safe with our 24/7 masaii security on the grounds. All in all cannot put into words how me and my family loved this place. We will be back soon. Thanks for everything Calister. You made our stay that much better.

Breakfast was really good. They were nice people and were always reachable when needed and were ready to help.

Everything. We couldn't as for a better accommodation. Right next to the ocean. You get out of the room and it's the beach. Sunbeds, beach dinners, etc. everything is available. The staff treated us like family (the good one) and fulfilled every request. The food was amazing, even better than some of the restaurants we tried. All this, and better priced too! They arranged all tours for us with better experience, amenities, and prices than we had hoped for. The place was constantly being kept up. The rooms were meticulous. No complaints whatsoever. And even if you had any, they'll fix it for you there and then!

It is a nice house close to the beach. The owner is very friendly, honest and helpful. The terrace has a nice view. I would stay there again.

We were lucky to discover this beautiful place that became our home for a while! Very quiet, beautiful garden, with an amazing team and everything you may need while living. Next to the ocean, close to Paje and Jambiani at the same time, but hidden in the bushes. 💚 Not a single problem with electricity, water, wi-fi, which is the key factors on the island. It is also very safe place with high quality protection on the whole territory. Our cats were happy to stay as well, and meet Baobab cutie-cats! Barbara was highly reactive to anything we needed during our stay, very loving and became our family.🤍 Coming back to Zanzibar we will definitely stay at Baobab.

This is a gorgeous villa. The garden is very lovely, the pool is so nice and the view from the Banda is the absolute best. The staff is so friendly and helpful. There’s airconditioning in the entire villa, just not in the sea view room above the Banda. It’s good that they have a back up generator. We really loved our stay. It was lovely seeing dikdik’s and monkeys in the garden. The guards are so friendly, we had great fun with them and the owner is so friendly and whenever you have a question she responds on WhatsApp within minutes. Service is excellent.

The women who staff this home were amazing. They took such great care of us. They cooked breakfast, cleaned, did laundry, and even helped me make a special drink for my daughter when she was ill. We miss them already! The house was gorgeous and right on the beach. Spotlessly clean, private pool, and 24/7 security.
