United KingdomExceptionally clean and comfortable accommodation, spotless, couldn't ask for more. I wasn't expecting the beds to be so comfortable OMG! We slept like babies, literally. There are so many prestigious hotels that can learn from here. A very nice location as well, in the heart of the nature, we only stayed for a night, but will definitely come back to explore the area; it's exquisite. As we arrived late in the night after a very long journey, the owner called us (so thoughtful) to ensure we understood the instructions. I congratulate the owners for such a great accommodation, they're putting a lot of heart in this I can see, next time will come back a few days. I can't recommend this enough!!

Very fiendly hosts! Property is spacious, clean and well taken care off. The view is lovely and the location is perfect if you prefer to stay in a village/more quiet place. The nearest (train) station is about 10 minutes drive by car.

In effect a village location - restaurant and bar closed (Monday evening) no alternative in the area. Breakfast was basic. Bathroom -good clean, Bedroom ok - carpet worn and soiled (room 18) WiFi signal did not reach my room - had to go downstairs to access it. Cold at night - no back up heating (central heating not on in July). No staff at arrival - keys left in lobby table

Last house in the village, just next to the woods. Amazing rest and beautiful nature. Dogs are welcome. All hosts are very helpful. Always gladly coming back!

Large, clean, comfortable, and attractive holiday home. The linens and towels were good quality, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Parking was ample. The village was quiet and peaceful, but there was a small grocery store only a block away. Plenty of restaurants and shopping were available in Freyung <10 min drive and the Baumwipfelpfad was also only about 10 min away.

Great silent location, warm house, has everything you need, rich of kitchen amenities. Great view from the terrace. Village is standing in kind of dead end, so its super silent and you can have great walks right from house. But it was hard to sleep in polyester linens. During the night you can see how sparkles are coming from the blanket, because of static energy.

It is a quiet place in a pleasant village, perfect to have some rest. Our room was renovated - I think pictures should be updated, as it looked much better than on Booking.
We were the only guests, but the breakfast was still big and we loved it.
The nearest restaurant is 2km away in Mauth, for us it was not a problem.

Very large rooms with a traditional rustic vibe. Beautiful views of the village and the surroundings. The restaurant downstairs is a traditional german one with fresh (probably local) traditional produce. The owner and staff were very friendly and nice the whole time.

Apartment has great location in the middle of calm village.
On the opposite side is nice small store where you can buy groceries.
Apartment itself was roomy, cozy and bed was great to sleep in. It has fully furnished kitchen which was helpful.
We enjoyed the stay by walking in the surrounding nature and after that we relaxed on the balcony.
Host was really nice and she provided us with tips about what we can see and do in the area.
We were not able to see everything so for sure we will come back.

This cosy and well-designed apartment lies in a peaceful beautiful place in the very heart of the Bavarian Forest. We admired the starry sky at night, murmur of the mountain springs and total quietness and serenity of the village and the forest. The sound proofing of the apartment house deserves a separate mention.

There is everything you need except for a freezer.
Beds were comfortable but better pillows would be nice. Owner was very very helpful. It’s in a very nice village. There is a nice and friendly bakery nearby so you can have your breakfast.
