We wanted to say to Mary a big ‘Thank You’ for a very comfortable and pleasant stay we had at Country Haven. The breakfast was amazing as was the room itself. Mary seemed to have thought of everything a person may potentially need while traveling and staying overnight with you. My husband has been working in the tourist industry for over 25 years and he mentioned that any private host that does business on Booking or AirB&B should come there for an internship ;). Thank you very much!

Wish we could have met Bill in person as very responsive and friendly on the phone. We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.

Perfectly located for the show grounds and the mart. Bed was soooo comfy which is huge for me. Everything was very clean

Ballylee is located in Galway, just 26 miles from Galway Greyhound Stadium and 26 miles from Dromoland Golf Course. The vacation home features both Wifi and private parking free of charge.

Accomodation was perfectly located for the retreat me and my sisters had. It was private. It had all the facilities needed. We had a lovely walk by the country road and also discovered a river. We did not meet staff but was we had prompt responses to messages. We loved it so much we would have to visit again.

The host Derek was exceptional, every detail covered, cleanliness was paramount and the ease of dealing with Derek was not only great, but lots of fun and laughter. It would have to be one of the best B&B’s we have stayed at. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay at Galway.

Amy and Paul were wonderful hosts and the house is lovely and comfortable. It is walking distance (10-12 minutes) to downtown Galway and is also on a bus route if you wanted to use that option. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed and the breakfast was really good. Overall, a great stay. We recommend highly and would definitely say there again.

Riverview Country House is located in Ballinasloe, just 24 miles from Galway Greyhound Stadium and 24 miles from Eyre Square.
