The place was very homey,cozy and comfortable .It truly felt like a home away from home.The manager and staff were kind and always ready to help.The manager was amazing.She recommended good places to get food and even ordered it for us.When we needed transport she arranged it within minutes.She is very friendly and professional.Everything was easy and convenient.I highly recommend this place especially if you are traveling with a child.

Owner of the homestay was away traveling, but Eliya and Cliff took really good care of us. Can’t stress enough how nice these guys were.. very very warm and chill guys! Room had a nice authentic African shack look and feel to it and as everybody else mentioned here, food was amazing!

I stayed at Mazzola for 4 nights with my 8-year-old daughter. It was a lovely place with a spacious living room & dining room and well-equipped kitchen with basic food supplies in stock. A short 15-minute tuktuk ride to town and you can easily use Bolt to get around. The host, mr. Innocent, was always on standby to help us with literally anything we needed, from arranging tours to national parks at fair prices to recommending places to eat or visit in Arusha town. He has gone beyond and above to make our trip to Arusha as fun and meaningful as possible. His professionalism and genuine care for the guests truely shone through, and thanks to him, our trip to Arusha will remain as one of the most memorable trips in TZ.

Kika and Chupa (apologies if this isn't how you spell your names) made us feel straight at home and went out of their way to make the stay as lovely as possible. They even introduced me to the staff at the local church so I could ask about going to mass and helped us choose local food to try and buy the food. We also really appreciated the early start for breakfast on the second stay day.
