Cheap hotels in Nagano

The drone/ fireworks event held in Nagano. The staff were very kind and helpful.The room was small but clean and comfortable.

Great location and easy access to other places around nagano

Every time I travel I always look for great accommodation to make my trip even more enjoyable even if it is just to rest or sleep. I am very happy that I chose your hotel because it is very close to the train station. It is very convenient and at least I do not have to worry about walking or traveling further after one day of exploring. I liked everything in your hotel especially during a snowy trip in Nagano.

The hotel seems fairly similar to many budget hotels in Japan, but the staff are extraordinarily kind and courteous. It’s also great value for the price as you also get a good breakfast and free vending machine. The location is very easy to get to from Nagano station.

The breakfast was quite acceptable. It was included with the room charge. The breakfast room was a little small, but this kept the buffet from being too big.

I like the fact that there were not a lot of people and the beautiful view of the valley and the stars that we had. We had some good family bonding time during our stay. It felt like we were royalty being the only family present.

The location is very close to the highway which was great. Very conveniently located next to a big mall

This is obviously not a luxury hotel but the concept is so cool and so well done you completely forgive the lack of toilets upstairs. Beds were super comfortable and loved the skylights in the bedroom. Check in at R Depot was extremely smooth

Great capsule area, really comfortable and decent size, minimal noise heard from other guests. The hangout space downstairs was great, and the restaurant / bar onsite was fantastic. The staff were lovely and accommodating. Great location.

We love everything! The location, room, the staff, the onsen, the free ice cream and Yakult in the onsen, the delicious, free ramen at night; and there's a coffee station where you can get freshly brewed coffee any time of the day, for free!

Everything was perfect. Location is close to station, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was amazing. Thanks to the staff for making our stay very comfortable and exceptional. Rooms are nice and clean. Perfect for short stay.

The room (wide for the standard) amenities (the best in this trip). Japanese Breakfast. Perfect Location 2 minutes walk from the station, shopping 1 minute away, convenience store at the 1st floor.

The hotel is close to Nagano station, about 5 minutes walk. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff very friendly, and the breakfast(Japanese style with some western dishes) simply amazing.

Nao, the owner of the Dot Hostel, was extremely helpful to us. We arrived at his hostel by bicycle with a medical issue (my husband's back). Nao speaks perfect English, was able to discuss with us what we needed, and made many phone calls to find us a doctor to see my husband right away. Even after we were no longer staying at the Dot Hostel, Nao was very responsive and continued to help us navigate the Japanese medical system, including finding a physical therapist and acupuncturist. Nao has a garage where we could park our bicycles, convenient laundry, a place to hang and dry out our camping gear, strong wifi, a full well stocked kitchen that was a pleasure to use, and a comfy hangout area. The dorms were well laid out, well ventilated and cooled with openable screened windows, and the toilet and shower were spotless. I am a light sleeper, but didn't notice any noise from other rooms as described by other reviewers. The hostel is located a one minute walk from the Zenko-ji temple. The hostel is an incredible value and I would absolutely stay there again.
