Cheap hotels in Guanajuato

Mexican-Modern decor, great beds. Very quiet. No problem with WIFI, worked well. Staff very helpful and friendly . Location in good walking distance to center. Nice Park and restaurants in the neighborhood. Will come back for future travels.

The hotel was close to The Centro (El callejon del beso, Mercado Hidalgo, etc.)

It has a great location, just go downstairs into the center. Lots of shops around and people walking aroud. Very close to the Mercado Hidalgo. and just walk to past Hidalgo market towards callejon del beso.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient to everything in the historic zone. We had three rooms and each one was lovely.

Clean and close to everything

We stayed for 4 nights. We arrived to the city by 6am and because our room was available, we were able to check in early which was a great first impression. No reception—just a key code which made the process faster and easier. When someone arose, they were quick to answer questions and offer assistance. The room was so nice and spacious. We opened all 8 windows for a nice cross breeze. The bed was a California king, comfortable, and a variety of thickness blankets to pair with the weather. The balcony out back was small but offered a great view. Outside the front door was the rooftop patio which offered more amazing views of the city. The location was unmatched. It’s right on the Main Street of downtown and a 3 minute walk to the center square.

Really clean and comfortable stay in Casa Lupita. The rooms are really big so even though there are no curtains it still feels pretty private. Great area or the city, everything is just a small walk. Very good clothes washing services available. Good kitchen and common area facilities. You can also buy eggs and bananas for 5 pesos each which is handy if you get hungry and want to cook. There is also an amazing taco stand a little bit outside in the evening which is open till late. And the most beautiful part is that the callejoneadas always pass by the hostel in the evening so it is great to sit outside on the terrace and get a bit of the show every night.

The location is super convenient. All stuff was so kind and good vibes. I really recommend for enjoyable of Guanajuato.

Lovely rustic courtyard filled with plants. Comfy room. Very helpful pleasant host. Good food nearby. Easy to get taxis into town.
