Reception staff excellent... close to airport...secure free parking

Easy to find, plenty of parking. Nice reception, large room with huge comfortable bed. Coffee and tea making facilities and massive TV. Excellent shower. Heating/cooling worked well. Breakfast was great choice and plentiful. Staff were all friendly and helpful

Located right next to the beach. The hotel has everything you need for the duration of the visit - clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast buffet.

The entire apartment was out of this world comfortable. There was an electronic fireplace that I could turn on to heat the room, which felt so cozy on an autumn evening. The window looks out onto the street, the view is half-covered by a tree which is decked in string lights in this time of year. Everything was clean and it smelled nice - which is the complete opposite to how sterile things usually smell in tourist accommodation.

The location was just perfect, easy to walk around Alkmaar Centrum and explore, find good places to have coffee and food. Sophie, one of the owners, was simply the nicest person, chatting with us, assisting with luggage, giving us a map and pointing out where we should go. The beds were so comfortable, and the very large dining table was perfect for spreading out computers and food/drink. I'm a little sad we only got to spend one night there (emergency booking because of an error I'd made in Airbnb reservations), but I would most certainly return for a longer period of time on my next trip.

Th location and friendly neighbourhood.

Our group rented both units, and it was wonderful to have a big home base for our time in the Netherlands. The washroom was large with double sinks. The kitchen was well stocked. But our favorite part was the beautiful outdoor space.

Unique location downtown the historic city of Alkmaar. The host handed to keys to us (he lives next door) and was super nice and helpful! The studio is complete with a nice kitchen, but why cook if you are close to dozen of restaurants a great walk from studio. We were there during the Kings night and Kings day when thousands of people are partying and celebrating the kings birthday. Great vibe! But it can be noisy that night - the rest of the 364 days in a year, the noise should be very limited (especial when the front door is adjusted so less noise will seep in).

Robins place is situated between a quiet road and a picturesque gracht. The atmosphere is light and makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable. Robin provides you with any information you could wish for since he knows his town by heart. We were lucky that he had time to take us on an amazing boat trip through Alkmaar’s grachten. Robin is a fine host definitely worth to be acquainted to! Thank you Robin🙏!

This studio is a perfect spot for a weekend away in Alkmaar, or if you're here for a work trip. We loved the amenities and location. Great host and local feel.

Loved it layout, cleanness and the lights wich automatically turned on at night. A ready to use kitchen was very nice.

I like everything: convenient location near the train station, clean house, nice design of the room, blackout curtains, comfortable bed, the kitchen has all cutlery.
