Great location, big and clean room, comfortable bed. I'm on a glutenfree diet and loved the fact that they give you a variety of glutenfree bread and snacks to enjoy for breakfast.

Valkenburg is a wonderful town, and we returned again for Christmas. Once again, we stayed at the Mercure Hotel. It is not in the center, but it’s not far. Interesting design, clean rooms, and nice staff.

Nice hotel in the center of Valkenburg. Located near tourist center of the town. Excellent and tasty breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Plus garage for the cars.

The building is exquisite, beautiful surroundings and very well located. Gorgeous spacious rooms, clean and comfortable bed ! Restaurant : Delicious meals and great breakfast. The staff is nice and professional. Great experience. Highly recommended !

Kim was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond helping us find alternative parking as an issue existed with Moby Park and our reservation was not honored by the sponsoring hotel. She then gave us a ride as this parking was further than the original parking booked. Kim even assisted with breakfast reservations. She is outgoing, helpful and communicative. The room was spacious, clean and had a lovely outdoor space with a view of the castle ruins. Right in the center of town and walkable to both Christmas markets.

The hosts were very sweet and helpful. The room was beautiful and very clean. Highly recommend!

I was totally impressed by the lady managing the hotel. She was extremely kind and helpful. Definitely, the kindest employee I have ever met. The hotel is clean and cozy. The room is clean and warm; the bed and pillow were also comfy. The parking area is big and well protected.

An excellent place to stay! The owner of the b&b was super friendly. It is family run and is managed exceptionally well, with scrumptious breakfast consting of bread, egg, ham and cheese! The rooms and common space were exceptionally clean, possibly the cleanest place I've stayed! While the rooms are simple they make it feel homely and make for a very enjoyable stay! The common spaces are decorated very nicely too! And it's only a 4 min walk into the centre and there is free parking! the owner provides excellent advice about the local area and is very accommodating to requests.

Clean, friendly, comfy, close to everything

The park was completely full and yet the noise level was more than acceptable. People really seem to be considerate of their neighbors. The mattress in this unit was particularly good The cooking facilities were terrific.

The BnB is very clean, comfortable, and friendly! The host met us at the door with a smile, and was very hospitable. The room was comfortable, as was the bed. Breakfast was very typically Dutch, and was delicious - clearly attention was paid to the selections, as the second day offered a few new choices. The host, Ron, was fun to chat with....he knows a lot about the area and gave us some good tips. Recommended to others is the American WWII Cemetery in Margraten, which is stunningly beautiful and intensely respectful. Overall we were very pleased with our choice of accommodation, as well as the places we visited in the area (Abdij Rolduc in nearby Heerlen, Maastricht, Caves in Sibbe, Three-Land border in Vaals, Aachen in Germany). Gorgeous area of the Netherlands, and plenty to do for at least 3-5 days.
