Hidden Gem in Panglao – Super Relaxing & Friendly! My friends and I had such a great stay at Mayana Resort! If you're looking for a peaceful place to unwind while exploring Bohol, this is it. The location is quiet and relaxing, about 15 minutes from Alona Beach — far enough to avoid the noise but still close enough to get there easily by scooter or tricycle. We actually loved being away from the crowds and coming back to a calm, green oasis at the end of the day. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. We were greeted with a cold drink and friendly smiles, and the service stayed consistently amazing throughout our stay. Big shoutout to Diana, who was always super helpful and professional, and to Anna at the bar and restaurant – she’s a gem! Our room was spacious, super clean, and really comfortable. Great bed, strong A/C, a nice modern bathroom, and even a balcony overlooking the pool. The little touches like a large safe (big enough for a laptop), fridge, and blackout curtains made a big difference. The pool was a favorite — clean, big enough to swim properly, and even has a deep end (over 7ft!). It's perfect for cooling off in the heat. Just watch the edges – they can be a bit rough, but it didn’t bother us. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and we ended up eating there most nights. They offer everything from Filipino dishes to Austrian options (yes, ostrich burger too!), and the staff were happy to accommodate special requests — like making a veggie curry or poached eggs even though they weren’t on the menu. Breakfast was tasty and filling, with several options to choose from. The coffee and fresh juice were a great way to start the day. And when we had to leave early one morning for diving, they packed us up a breakfast to go — such a thoughtful touch! They also rent out good scooters, which made getting around super easy. And if you don’t drive, the staff can quickly call a tricycle or taxi for you.

The place is brand new and spacious. I like the outdoor gym. The owner was very friendly, even if we stayed in only for 1night.

I like the vibe and the facilities.

Beautiful view, huge rooms with comfortable beds. It felt like home. The food and service are top notch. Great beach for a morning walk or swim. The resort is in a quiet location which was perfect for us. We had scooters so it was easy to get around.

We enjoyed our stay here so much, we extended our stay from one week to a month, the hosts are amazing friendly and great cooks as well. We were able to use a well equipped kitchen to cook meals, and even cooked pizza in their awesome wood fired oven. They have rental scooters on sight which is very convenient .

Clean room, clean bed sheets, and CR. Cold AC. Place is very peaceful. WiFi is fast, good for working. Helpful and friendly staff.

I liked how big and clean the rooms were. It’s also conveniently located near the airport and main roads.

Accommodating and staff was kind

For ~1000+ pesos, it's definitely amazing. Spacious and comfortable room with a balcony and nice views. It's comfortable and not tacky. We got the luxuries of a hotel for the price of a hostel. There's a pool downstairs, and it's not that far from the main city. They have a laundry service which was nice. They let us use their freezer to keep our ice cream in as well. Def has an old hotel feel to it, it will get better over time. They're doing lots of renovation and a new building is being made when we were there.

Everything. The host is so nice and helpful, always reassuring we have everything needed. The breakfast was delicious and with a seaside view. The room brand new/renovated and clean. Also helped with renting a scooter, transport to ferry pier, giving all kind of usefull info... Highly recommend.

This was a true 10/10 stay. Squeaky clean, it has all the ameneties you can think of. The host is really friendly and helpful. They provide free bikes on site, scooter for rent at a more than fair price and car also perfect for a family of 5 like us. The duplex is situated in a safe and friendly compound. You can use the pool any time you wish, of course respecting the neighbours. The location is perfect if you want to be away from the husle in Alona Beach, but also strategicaly positioned to easily get to important turist destinations with the car or scooter ( loboc river, tarsier sanctuary, chocholate hills etc) Thank you for hosting us.

The owner should be very happy with its staff! They are very friendly and approachable! They also provided us everything we requested. They are also very polite and helpful. If you wanna be one with nature, this place is perfect! The place is extremely peaceful. Me and my partner had the best time especially the stunning view over the balcony! Overall this trip is amazing, kodus to the owner and most especially the employees. We will be back soon! 🙂 Balik² lang mi hehe🤩

The villa is beautiful and perfectly located right by the beach, with very spacious rooms. Ludwig is an exceptional host, kind and thoughtful, and even went out of his way to pick me up from a bus station 30 minutes away. Liza was equally warm and helpful throughout my stay. I genuinely felt at home here

The place was clean and has complete tools for cooking

The apartment is absolutely gorgeous and intelligent, during our stay for 5 days, we felt like home. When my friend was sick, the hosts provided us all the assistance to make us feel comfortable!! The environment is quiet and cozy, with the motorbike, it is so convenient to travel everywhere!!!
