I am so obsessed with this hotel. It was stunning with unique rooms and bathrooms and really cute breakfast and peaceful with perfect location for everything Sun Moon. Honestly a real favorite.

My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon / a trip to Taiwan to see my extended family. The front desk was incredibly helpful with recommendations on what to do during our 3-day stay, including a little local viewing spot to see fireflies that was magical to see (I had no idea it was firefly season at all!), though I believe they primarily speak Mandarin Chinese / had to translate for my husband. Our room had a lovely partial view of the lake, and watching how the light changes over time while eating snacks we brought back was a treat!

We had a pleasant stay overall, with a few things worth noting for future travelers. The hotel’s location is great if you have a car, especially during rainy days, as it makes getting around much more convenient. On sunny or dry days, it’s still manageable without a car since there’s a bus stop at the foot of the hill leading down to the Sun Moon Lake area. Unfortunately, it rained heavily throughout our stay, which made getting in and out a bit inconvenient at times. That said, the experience was truly saved by the incredible staff. A special thank you to Nelly and Tom, who went above and beyond by personally driving us into the downtown Sun Moon Lake area so we could get food and even catch the boat tour. Their kindness and effort made a huge difference and turned our stay around. The hotel itself has a very relaxing and peaceful ambiance—perfect for unwinding. Breakfast was okay, not particularly memorable, but decent enough to start the day. Overall, despite the weather challenges, the exceptional service and calming atmosphere made our stay worthwhile.

The place is cozy and clean. Was able to meet a Filipina staff ( Mary Grace ) who is very welcoming and helpful. Will consider booking again and recommend the hotel to some friends who want to experience good stay at reasonable price and service.

Property was in a convenient location. The room had comfortable beds and was very clean. The boss was very friendly. I would stay here again!

We booked the room with a panoramic view of a lake and it is really beautiful.

The location was about 10-15 minutes walk from where the bus drop us off, our room got amazing view (pics attached), the staff were gracious and lovely, and the breakfast we got was so good for the value. Highly recommended!!!

Great location, super friendly staff, very clean and comfortable. The decor was minimalist. In photos, it looks a little bare, but it is actually very cozy, comfortable and relaxing!! The room looked better than the photos. Enjoyed having snacks and tea and writing a note on their post board. Laundry on premises was super convenient.

The breakfast is a healthy Japanese style which suits us. The apple juice provided is fresh, sweet, and original. The lady in the reception is friendly, and informative. The place is just 5 min walk from the ferry jetty at Itashao. The bathroom n the toiletries are of superb quality. The room for 4 of us is big enough.
