Also a good location where you can rent a motorbike from to go up to the viewpoints or for the hike to sibayak. An amazing remote spot in the middle of nature, but still on walking distance from town. The lodges are very comfortable and impeccably clean. It’s a shared bathroom, but very well maintained and loved the design.

Hands down the best of the 3 places we stayed at in our one-week in Bukit Lawang. It's so dreamy and we were very sad to leave. Besides the aircon and Hot water shower, the location is unbeatable with the river flowing right outside the balcony. We even saw two orangutans hanging from trees from right across the river! The hosts were extremely friendly and gracious, they offered the best rates on transfers too! The Wild River restaurant next door is very good and offers value for money. Book here!
