Had a great stay at Popone Farm and Lodge. Really appreciated the creative and luxurious accommodations created by the proprietor George. Cell service worked fine in the common area. Nice small stream with a rustic trail also on the property. Loved seeing the farm animals. Wonderful breakfast which included homemade yogurt from George's goat herd and homemade strawberry jam and pancakes.

Comfortable, spacious, safe, with beautiful surroundings. Bridget and her mom are wonderful and even shared some delicious food with us. You can walk right to the river and our hosts gave excellent recommendations for things to do in the area.

Absolutely Everything: We made the reservation at the last minute - I mean we arrived at the property within 20-minutes of booking, and our Hosts didn’t even see our reservation yet. However, they were quick to respond and extremely professional. The location was remote, private and completely tranquil with the cabin nestled in the chocolate grove. Breakfast was also very good and served early because we had to depart at 6:30 am - The Owners made adjustments to ensure we had breakfast before departing.
