It was among our favorite stays in the entire 2 week-vacation! It is simple but you have everything that you need. The tours offered by Edoardo were perfect and it was just the two of us and we managed to spot lots of animals. Would return and recommend to anyone.

Perfect place to stay in Tortuguero. Super spacious and comfortable room, 1 minute walk to the beach and a short walk to town center. Coffee bar was nice and property was quiet. The cleaning lady was extremely friendly and does an excellent job cleaning the rooms, my room was very clean! Good communication before arrival, very happy with my stay!

Looooved this property. In front of the river and the view is awesome (pictures cannot tell). Room with view to the river was awesome and they clean it up with clean towels everyday. Luis is amazing and honest guide. Highly recommended

The deluxe glamping suite was more than we could ask for! With the pool, very private deck, mini bar, etc. the bathroom was big and all the finishings were beautiful!

The hostess Anna Rita was very helpful and went above and beyond in assisting us when a family member got sick. She took exceptional care of all of us ? assisting us with everything we needed. Their guide Owen was very helpful too, assisting us with our medical needs and taking care of us by talking to the doctor and even bringing us medication. He was very knowledgeable and did a phenomenal job showing us the local wildlife during our tour. Ana Rita and Owen were truly amazing and we appreciate all they did to make our stay very enjoyable and comfortable.

Tranquil location with lots of wildlife on the property. We fell asleep to crickets and frogs and woke up to howler monkeys. The staff was wonderful, the buffet was above average, and the bed pillows were actually supportive, not those feather pillows that collapse into nothing when you lay down.

With pool views, Laguna Lodge is located in Tortuguero and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace.
