Cabins in Bowness-on-Windermere

Centrally located and quiet. The owners are lovely and so helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was incredibly clean, neat, and cozy. Honestly, it looks even better in person than in the pictures. Highly recommend!

Excellent location and, overall, the lodge suited our needs well. It has a kitchen with dishwasher, a washer-dryer and a lovely verandah and small BBQ. It is in a quiet location at the back of the park. The master bedroom was a good size with ample wardrobe storage. The lounge was well sized with a comfortable sofa. A very short walk into Bowness made it easy to get around and access activities and food shopping.

The breakfast hamper delivered to your door in the morning was a nice touch. Eating at the table in your own room was lovely and the food which you order the night before was delicious. We had the 4 poster bed (Beatrix room) which was really comfy. The garden was lovely and the parking is great . You're only a 10 minute walk from the lake so we didn't use our car all weekend. There's plenty of shops/ bars/eateries on your doorstep too. The hosts have thought of everything for the room, even supplying little scissors to cut the milk sachets open which you can normally have an argument with!

The location and views over the lake were amazing. The level of privacy it offered us was very impressive. The patio was just the right size and location. The indoor was really clean and the windows gave me full views of the lake. I just loved everything really.
