United StatesShine Chalet is a "tiny home" in the owner's back yard. Abi, the owner, is a kind, giving person who went above and beyond several times to see that we were very well cared for. The chalet is well located for our purposes in the town of Redruth. It is spacious enough for two people, quiet and well appointed for a stay of several days. We were there for five nights. We would stay there again .

I do recommend bringing your own towels if you will be visiting the pool or going to nearby beaches. Great shops and restaurants short drive away. Overall, wonderful and comfortable place to stay! Hosts very helpful and kind!

Stunning grounds, attention to detail in accommodation, tv in bath was a big hit! Lots of wardrobe space. Every home from home comfort thought about. My son loved the rocking chair. Nothing was too much trouble, I had some flowers delivered for my daughter's graduation, they made sure they were in chalet, in a vase ready for when she returned from graduation, even sent me a photo so I could see what they were like.

The grounds of Chycara is phenomenal and gave all of the feelings of staying in the woods, near a river. The sounds, site and location were all fantastic and it truly was picturesque and a mindfulness enhancing retreat.
The owners were very friendly and the cabin we were staying in was excellent, with highly comfortable beds and all the facilities you would need, which were good in quality.
The location of the site is also fantastic as it is 30 minutes drive from most of the highly interesting locations around Cornwall.

The perfect getaway in a beautiful peaceful and secluded location. Our accommodation, Shepherd's Hut, had everything you could need or hope for in self- catering, with nothing whatsoever forgotten! We never saw the staff but there was no need. Everything had been well explained in emails prior to arrival. Honestly we could not fault Chycara and would gladly stay again.

The cabin was situated on a private lake which offered peace and serenity, the setting was so beautiful we found it difficult to leave the cabin to explore the surrounding area. We have two dogs and they were free to roam to their hearts content. A wonderful holiday was enjoyed by us all.
