Lovely spot though hard to find. Beautiful gardens, very well appointed house. Breakfasts very good with nice adjustment to my dietary needs. I enjoy the big table breakfast so we can chat and share with other guests. Thanks for the loan of the local maps and the dinner recommendations.

Very friendly hosts who made us welcome. They were happy to share information about the town and surrounding area. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The kitchen facilities were greatly appreciated, with a refrigerator available for guests to use. The breakfast was well stocked with a nice variety of things to choose from. Parking in front for 4 vehicles, and they have some parking in the rear as well. When we come back to Cornwall, we will definitely stay here again if a room is available.

Very small town with some interesting streets and some nice architecture but general the centre is a mixture of new and old buildings the main square was OK. The cathedral and the surrounding area were the best.

The town is in a dip of steep land so choose a hotel well if you're ealking and on public transport, there are infequent buses that are more expensive than I'm used to in Birmingham. Trains are much better and useful in each direction. The town itself is cobbled roaded main square with shops, cafes, pubs.

Truro is an excellent base to travel all across Cornwall, by bus or train. The bus station in the town centre has regular buses to most of the major seaside resorts - Falmouth, Newquay, Perranporth, St Mawes, St Austell, Eden Project, St Ives. Truro itself is pleasant but not a great deal to see apart from the cathedral which is impressive. The train station in Truro is about 15 minutes walk out of town, uphill.

The buses time table was out of date car parks could not be used as no phone single the only way to pay the town seemed run down and few evening reatursnts. We ate at the hotel very good but only pizzas or snacks okay for three days but a longer trip would have caused problems for parking and eating in town

This is my 4th trip in a year primarily to enjoy a visit to the Hall For Cornwall. So far I have seen a musical evening, a musical show, a comedian and an Agatha Christie play, and I thoroughly enjoyed them all.

Apart from the cathedral there was not much else . We had based ourselves in Truro to visit Tresillik National Trust which in spite of being in great location was rather dissappointing having visited Lanhydrock earlier in the day which was superb. The house in Tressilick was very limited and appeared to be mainly used in lieu of the more usual excellent NT restaurant.

The hotel was wonderful with really friendly staff and perfectly located in the centre of Truro. This made accessing all areas so easy. The room was fine albeit a little small but it had everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent and the city centre parking was a real bonus.

The bissik old mill is situated in a beautiful spot of Cornwall. Ideal for walking. The scenery is breath taking. Not far from Truro it was like going back in time. It's was great to be able to still wander into the small trading shops. A very good market.
