The location within the Pukaki Airfield is awesome. Gorgeous views of Mt Cook and surrounding mountains. Very quiet. Scenic flight oprion right at the doorstep. Very friendly staff. Communal kitchen and guest lounge and outside seating area, all excellent and a great opportunity to meet fellow travellers. Spacious rooms with beautifully appointed decor and large bathroom/ shower. Highly recommend this accommodation

Wow, wow, wow! This property did not disappoint. If you are looking for solitude amongst the stars, look no further. It’s a short drive into Twizel where you can stock up and cook a meal in the well appointed kitchen. It was an easy drive to Mount Cook and back with plenty of time to explore the many tracks. The stocked pantry as well as the kitchen appliances were all top notch. You can see the owners put care into the execution of the property and there is pride of ownership.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at this property! It was very clean and its bathroom, kitchen, living area, and bedrooms were well appointed. The property is convenient to both Twizel’s city center (15 min) and Mt. Cook / Aoraki National Park (45 min). We spent most of our evenings relaxing at the outdoor table drinking wine and watching the sun set behind the hills. Stargazing each night was magnificent as there are no other properties nearby. Finally, the host was wonderful and communicative throughout our stay. Highly recommended!
