I loved everything about it, its just a bit pricey

Staff were amazing and helpful, and the stay was lovely.

Location central so we walked the town. Well maintained accommodation. Most cooperative Management. Good value for the price.

Food are very good. Service are good. Game drive excellent.

Our Hosts Tara and Dave were fantastic from the start to the end of our stay in their beautiful mountainous country retreat. It's such a lovely place to relax, have a BBQ (Braai) or take hikes into the mountain. Dave kindly took us on a lovely walk through the mountains to a hotel spa nearby. I wish we had more time to stay and explore\relax. I will definitely be coming back again, The Chalet had everything we needed for self catering and was very clean.

Lovely location as it’s walkable to farm stalls, restaurants, pubs and the Saturday market. Wonderful pool (even in winter for the kids), stopes for a braai, and very comfortable, well equipped and laid out cottages. Michele & Jereon are wonderful hosts, thank you

Home away from home. Well appointed. Absolutely everything you need was there. Large veranda with spectacular view of the mountains and orchards. Working farm. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely braai area, even wood, fire starters, barbecue utensils included. Second time to visit. Will be back

Stunning place, the setup and lighting and the surroundings are amazing!

On arrival we were greeted by our friendly host, Gert. We parked in the street as the area is regarded as safe. There is an option of parking inside of the motorised car gate right at the front door, but that would entail moving aside a table and chairs from the outdoor area. The cottage is completely private, neat and clean. Although compact, the space is well utilised, including a tv with all the channels. The kitchenette is well equipped. With a comfortable large bed and a modern bathroom, this well-priced accommodation is ideal for a short stopover.

Great location. About 15km on good gravel from the tar (A318). Easily doable in a normal car. The cottage was very private and quiet. It is totally off-grid so lighting is by solar jar lights and candles. I had a head torch which was useful for going outside at night and reading. There is no wifi or cell reception at all. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. Jurgen is a very friendly host and he made the visit easy for me. I would certainly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a quiet stay.

The cottage was comfortable, peaceful and had everything we needed. Sheryl was an amazing host, she left us a bunch of little treats and a bottle of wine that were much appreciated. Communication was great. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need for your stay. There was a great hiking trail just a few feet from the property that was very nice. Lots of things to do in Montagu, especially the wine tastings!
