The setting by the dam is Idyllic with a constant stream of birds and animals. The beds are very comfortable and the outdoor shower and large (indoor) bath are a real treat. The breakfast box and welcome box were more than adequate.

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen.

This stay was unplanned and booked last minute. And we didn´t regret it! Tasty food, great wine and a lodge with a view over the game farm. The 2 game tours (evening and morning) ,included into the room rate, are fascinating. We saw all big 5, except leopard, but therefore Cheetahs on the hunt.

Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages.

It was a charming place, beautifully decorated from the main building to the suites just on the outside, which were perfectly equipped if you choose to stay a couple of nights. Just get out of the city and watch the stars, make a wood fire. The conceive of the place and the friendliness of the staff was very welcoming. I’d definitely recommend this to any travelers seeking a place to rest. Couples or family’s even for a single travel. I brought the whole family and they were very accommodating with pre booking and making reservations.

Beautiful country lodge set at the foot of the Swartberg mountains. The vistas were breathtaking made even more special by variety of animals (buck, zebras, giraffes) that roam the property. The lodge was Calm, Understated and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

The food, excellent! The view, words can't describe untill you are there to experience it yourself. Staff absolutely magnificent, and quick response. The owners are amazing people, and best of all, the comfort and relaxation.... Amazing!! Definitely recommended!!
