Ingrid made our stay absolutely perfect!! We were greeted by zebras and ostrich as soon as we entered the grounds - already quite the experience! Our room had amazing views and was very comfortable and clean. We had dinner on the property our first night which was one of our favorite meals of the trip! We did the Addo park, Schotia Safari and a Giraffe walk all by recommendations from Ingrid and we had the perfect trip.

Spacious and well equipped room. Communal areas and pool were lovely. Staff and food were great. Respect for the environment ethos appreciated. Game tours were amazing with very knowledgeable guide.

The staff make the place and our safari guide was exceptional. The location is superb with wild animals very close to your room ( but safely). Couldn’t recommend highly enough is a safari is on your list.

Mark’s Camp is a warm, family-friendly safari lodge set in a scenic valley overlooking a busy waterhole, where wildlife sightings can often be enjoyed from the lodge itself.

This is my 2nd time staying at Kichaka and again it was amazing. It is truly a must visit when visiting the eastern cape. From the moment you arrive you are treated so well. The lovely ladies at reception who greeted us and everyone at the lodge. The food was fabulous, they catered for me being Coeliac too. The game drives were amazing. Justin our ranger is so knowledgeable and so so lovely. We had the most fabulous animal experiences with Justin. We were sad to leave, it was like leaving your friends behind. We wish we had a longer stay but we will definitely be back and stay longer next time.

Long Lee Manor is located within the malaria-free Shamwari Private Game Reserve, home to the Big 5. The Edwardian-styled manor features manicured gardens and overlooks the African plains.
