The place is exactly as described, quiet, intimate and clean. The big windows give a great feeling of being in touch with the outside. The breakfast restaurant is a short walk away and is great deal. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice and peaceful stay in the mountains. Everything was clean, the owner showed us around, we felt very welcome. Our dog also loved the place. Sauna was very good. We had an amazing time in Kotatuli - staying with a local family (and their dogs) really makes a trip to Lapland very special and personal. Living in the middle of the forest is such a treat to relax and unwind, plus you get to see the Northern Lights driving there. Totally recommended!

Kätkä Lake Lodge is truly a magical place! We really enjoyed our stay here and honestly, the lodge was our favorite stay during our week long trip to Finland. Firstly, Mikko, the owner is a fantastic host. Always there to answer our questions and really appreciated his help/comments regarding road conditions before we got there. Second, if you are looking for a place that provides peace and tranquility, the lodge is it. We really enjoyed snowshoeing on the trail across the way, it made me so happy! The breakfast options were great as well - lots to choose from. My friend is vegetarian and she enjoyed the spread as well. Kiitos very much Mikko!
