The place is in a central location with plenty to see and do close by. It was very clean and comfortable. Marco was very helpful - helped us get our luggage up to the room, gave good restaurant recommendations, checked in on us the second day to make sure everything was good, and called us a cab when we left. There was a great selection of breakfast food and even a big bottle of beer in the fridge. I would definitely stay there again!

We were hiking to Lago Nero the next day so the location was perfect for us! The chalet was very cute and the hotel next door was very helpful for coffee in the morning and a small grocery selection!

Very nice place, and Ms. Ulricha was a super host. She was so kind and willing to help us book taxi's, answer questions we had, provide info on nearest coffee shops, grocery stores, etc. She was available almost 24/7. She even stayed late the day of our arrival making sure we got to the hotel because I was extremely confused and turned around on how to get there.

I cannot recommend this stunning property in the heart of Garfagnana highly enough. Manola and her team go far and beyond to make you feel that Kings and Queens in this beautiful and magical part of Italy. Peaceful and luxurious. The jacuzzi with the views is breathtaking and the breakfast was outstanding. Everything is lonely grown and produced. I can go on forever about how beautiful this place truly is.
