I cannot recommend this place enough. An absolute must if you are passing through. We were greeted by the two lovely bartenders in what I can only describe as an old school saloon vibe, with locals sitting outside, drinking and conversing. It truly made us feel like being part of the village. Lovely rooms, comfy beds, simple, but tasty breakfast. This is an absolute gem.

The food was great. It was nice to have some vegan options on the menu - even a vegan meal of the day read out with the specials. The chef came out for a chat and was really friendly. The accommodation was comfortable. The included breakfast had all the things you would expect and the bread was decent. Friendly service. Lots of history and information about the area on the walls. Good location in town, right next to the local museum which also has great info on where to go around town.
