Check-in was nice - we were a bit apprehensive because we were arriving late (by New Zealand standards) but staff were available to greet us and check us in and give us a tour of the facilities. We were also a bit apprehensive about shared bathrooms but there was absolutely no issue with availability. It was a bit of a cold night (for us) but the hotel and the room were well heated. The options for breakfast were satisfactory.
