The guesthouse had a lovely garden, private balcony in my room with gorgeous view of Lake Ohrid. The host was wonderful and very helpful. She made a delicious local trout dinner as well as breakfast with homemade items.

Hosts are lovely and house very welcoming. We had the 2 rooms on the 1st floor for the 4 of us and it was great. We could have dinner prepared by our hosts. Very nice view over the lake from the 2nd floor terrace. Lin is a very peaceful place, with some hikes possible from the village. We just very much liked it.

Rosa, the host, the place, as well as the overall experience of our stay exceeded our expectations. Rosa is the epitome of the Albanian hospitality. She was very attentive and caring, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She also prepared some really delicious food for us. The back view of the place facing the lake was amazing. Nothing better than waking up to that gorgeous view. Otherwise, the place was very clean, had good wifi, and free parking. While there, we also met other guests from different parts of the world and had some interesting conversations. I strongly recommend Rosa B&B.

Loved everything about this property and the owner and the inn keeper!! The room was spotless, the view was beyond stunning, the food was out of this world and the entire guest house was one of the most charming places I’ve ever seen. I would literally come back and stay for six months!! Loved this hidden gem

Great town to spend a day and perhaps one night.

Great town to spend a day and perhaps one night. Fantastic lake and mountain views. Like stepping back in time. It's a way to visit the real Albania, with all its simple charms as well as flaws. Definitely not a fancy or Disneyland-type place. Has a few decent places for a lakefront meal or drink. Just walk around town to admire its authenticity and be sure to walk up to the rocky peninsula for the outstanding views (you'll likely see some sheep, donkeys and chickens long the way).

The walk over the promontory was good, a little hilly but...

The walk over the promontory was good, a little hilly but fine for any reasonably fit person. Good to see the ruins of the monastery and the mosaic, follow the red and white stripes. Then through the green gate to the end of the promontory where there is an old pill box with views across the Lake Orhid. Hotel Leza stocks a wheat beer more to our taste if you like ale. Lin is a pretty village one of the oldest inhabited in Europe.

Nice little village on the shore of Ohrid lake.

Nice little village on the shore of Ohrid lake. We stayed there 2 nights but we could have stayed 1 more night. There are some nice walks to do in the village. One along the coast and and another one uphill to reach a bunker dating from the communist regime. The place is convenient for those who need to catch a plane in Ohrid airport. Just make sure to leave in good time due to potential delays at the border between Albania and North Macedonia.

A wonderful, quiet place with what you would call "soft tourism" appeal. I do hope they keep the village like it is and don't make the same mistake as they have made in Ksamil (see my other evaluations).

Lin is a charming village nestled beside Lake Ohrid.

Lin is a charming village nestled beside Lake Ohrid. The atmosphere is serene and welcoming, with friendly and genuinely hospitable residents. As you drive down the national road leading to Pogradec, the village of Lin appears below. This picturesque peninsula is home to hundreds of locals. As you approach, the vibrant red roofs of its quaint homes stand out. Notably, one of the oldest mosaics in the Eastern European region, dating back to the 4th century, is located here. Its detailed designs and beauty seamlessly complement the surrounding landscape!

Lin is a small fishing village in a stunning, timeless setting. Our hosts were thoughtful without being intrusive. The calm of the place and the kindness of the inhabitants make it well worth a visit.
