Now that I have had a chance to experience Patagonia, let me...

Now that I have had a chance to experience Patagonia, let me offer the following: you will not find a more comprehensive place for nature than right here! As an example, with Darwin Expedition today, I saw the following (and I mean up close and personal): Magellan penguins, rockhopper penguins, elephant seals, sea lions (we needed to keep a respectful distance but we were still reasonably close). Plus we saw Commerson AND austral dolphins. This is an animal/nature lover's dream. Other cities are fine and I will not denigrate them; rather, what I'm saying is this is THE best place to see it all, and I mainly came to see the rockhoppers. Yes, it's a bit off the beaten path but well worth it.

Nothing is good at this hotel. The building and decoration is old. Shower is not working properly. Cold water and lucky if you get lukewarm water after 29 minutes. Worst breakfast I had in Argentina.
