We had a great one night stay last night in a very clean and incredibly spacious room overlooking the vineyards. Housekeeping did a marvelous job prepping an extra sofa bed, as well as making sure the entire room was pristine. When we arrived, the air conditioning thankfully had been turned on prior (it was a hot day) to make sure we have a pleasant sleep. Thank you!!! Things like these dont go unnoticed. Elli (serving breakfast and in charge of front desk) was fantastic. She made wonderful eggs and took care of everything in the morning.

Unfortunately it was the worst experience I've had. Starting from the entrance to the hotel (a very inappropriate system of keeping the room key and displaying the reservation on an A4 stuck to the door in the dark; I rang the bell while standing in the rain for 10 min!) The room assigned was cold, without any heating system; after I called the owner (a Lady) she came with a radiator in her arms :( Obviously I refused and wanted to leave; she insisted on offering me another room (this time with heating); anyway, everything superficial, old furniture, smell of chlorine in the room and bathroom and the very modest breakfast, mediocre coffee.

Lovely small village.

Lovely small village. Lots of historical place is nearby, good starting point to explorer the southern outskirt of Vienna. The historical downtown of the village is very romantic with good restaurants and good wineries. The people living here is very kindly and hospitable. Recommended for everyone who likes the good wines, good traditional austrian foods.

We were celebrating an important anniversary, and asked for a good room with a view. We could not have been happier with the room, the care and attention, the speed of communication, and the perfect location right beside extensive vineyards. The breakfast buffet was very good too. There was even a shared kitchen with well-stocked fridge working on the honour system. All this without mentioning the beautiful Schloss with its stunning history, and the lovely nearby town of Gumpoldskirchen with its heurigens.

There was a swift check-in process and the hotel did a great job in meeting our request for a cot for our 10 month old. Our room was large and clean and had good views from the balcony. There was a reasonable variety for breakfast and after an ironing board was requested it was promptly brought to the room. If you're staying in Gumpoldskirchen for a couple of nights for a wedding or other reasons we would highly recommend this hotel.
