The reception by the staff was exceptional. We were given a very nice room. The ambience of the hotel and the new outlook of the hotel interiors including the elevator with music was excellent. The hotel location away from any kind of human noise was just exceptional. For the three nights that we were there, we always woke up to the singing of the birds. The hotel gardens are serene, one can spend the whole time seated there in a very peaceful environment. The breakfast was excellent with a good combination of juices and cereals.

The hotel is located on the Danube shore, with a spectacular view over surrounding hills and Danube from upper rooms, close to city, yet in a very quiet location. The room is spacios and very clean, the restaurant is offering quality food , breakfast is very good. Parking place at the hotel ground level is a plus. And the night sky view is magnificent (due to outside town hotel location)

My daughter and I went up for the weekend to visit Xmas markets and the museum. It's a beautiful old town and we always enjoy our time there. Very relaxing and of course the Wachau is beautiful any time of the year.

It is a quaint town with old well preserved buildings and wineries in the area. For me it has a family connection as my 3x great grandfather was born there in 1826 and some of the places he lived and worked at still survive.

Very nice town with everything for a pleasant stay.

Very nice town with everything for a pleasant stay. The river, the old town, the hill with the vineyards, the boats through the Wahau valley. The bike routs. All these are worth trying. There are enough and different restaurants for every taste. We were there to try local food and wine and we were not disappointed. We cycled to Spitz with our 8 year old son, had lunch and took a boat back - really exciting for the boy.

Nice old city, lots of restaurants, bars and wine bars. Good location for shopping. Bakeries opened each day, no problem to find breakfast early in the morning. Small city, easy to go by foot everywhere. I reccomend boat trip Krems-Spitz-Krems, wonderful. Tasting wine in Spitz exceeded our expectations. Very nice green Donau´s nature, vineyards everywhere. Super!

Krems is a fantastic city.

Krems is a fantastic city. Lots of sights, leisure and entertainment options. There is a very high-quality bicycle path along the Danube, it is easy to get to the equally beautiful neighboring Dürnstein or the other towns by bicycle. The baroque atmosphere of Krems is very captivating. It is a perfect destination for a shorter or longer stay as well.

Lovely old town with a great position on the Danube.

Lovely old town with a great position on the Danube. We spent 3 hours sitting on the comfortable chairs right on the river. Took our lunch there to eat on the river followed by a gelato. Great old traditional restaurant - Adlerbräu which has been in business since 1621. Terrific town square too. The night we were there they had a comedian on a floating boat (moored!) so there was lots of activity.

Great location with a good distance between all the most famous sites in the Wachau region. The place was clean and functional—we found everything we needed there. Check-in was easy, and although parking required an app, it was simple to use and cost €4 per day. We were able to park right outside the building on the street.
