We spent wonderful winter vacation in this apartment.
We spent wonderful winter vacation in this apartment. It was amazingly big with enough space for everyone and everything. Very well equipped, super clean and cozy. We could easily travel to nearby skiing resorts by our car (parking in front of the doors) but ski bus stop was very close. Our hosts were sweet young couple who was very helpful and nurturing. Definitely will come back once we want to visit the area again!

This location was not our first choice.
This location was not our first choice. As cyclists we were forced to alter our desired destination because of a recent flood that wiped out the accommodations we thought we would have preferred in Krimml. Ironically, our 2-night stay at Schöeneben turned out to be our favorite destination of a 3 1/2-week bicycle tour of Bavaria and Austria. We were easily able to get to our desired destination by bicycle on our full day in between our two nights and incidentally unencumbered with panniers. The location was incredibly beautiful and being up from the river and cycle path offered views that would have been unavailable if our original wish had come true. We were extremely pleased.
Schöeneben was not only our lodging, but the restaurant hosted by a husband and wife team provided the most delectable dining experience of our tour. We would enthusiastically return if it becomes possible in our future travels.

Nicely decorated, spatious, comfortable appartement. A short car ride to the ski areas of Königsleiten or Wildkogel. Tough the road to the first goes over a toll road with some sharp turns. It is free with a skiing pass tough. The hamam is also a nice plus after a day of skiing.

The food in the hotel is excellent and provides plenty of home made delicious specialties. Staff is very friendly and helpful and creates a very positive atmosphere. All that at a great price for value ratio.

Incredible hotel that you would want to stay in. Incredible scenery. The waterfall that flows under the windows makes for a great night's sleep. Thank you for the warm welcome, everything was superb.
