Great guesthouse quite close to the lake. You do have to peek a bit to see the lake from the hotel but you can walk to it easily. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. I'm generally getting to breakfast at the end but there is still always plenty for me to choose from. The staff also doesn't try to rush you out of breakfast and just lets you eat. They also have a good system where your room is assigned a breakfast table which eliminates that tired wandering around looking for a free spot and then leaving some sort of item on the table that you'd probably rather not leave behind. This is a great idea!

Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted by the owner. I could tell he takes a lot of pride in the bubble hotels. There are a total of 4 of them in the lot, and a shared bathroom and shower, also a public restroom ~5 minute walk away. I was impressed with how well the space was used. Within my tent I had my bed, an outlet (and USB A & USB C charging ports) a clothesline, thermometer, trash can, beam bag chairs, blankets, sitting area, covered deck with chairs, a fridge, a heater, and some more. It does get hotter during the day and colder at night, but the owner showed me how to use the heater and how to let out hot air and pull in colder air. There are also signs pointing to all sorts of places like restraunts, with QR codes for more help. It's definitely a very well-done setup. I was hoping for clear skies during my stay, but it was still a very cool experience when it was overcast. I actually think it would be coolest to sit and watch a storm from the bubble. I also was able to rent a paddle board from the owner and enjoy the lake from it. It can be a bit expensive but definitely an experience I'm glad I had, and it definitely helps knowing the cost of the tent is going to a very great guy and his family. I was very warm with my blankets, mattress warmer, and heater, despite any temperature drops in the night.

Incredible location, staff, facilities, and restaurant. The staff was so kind and warm. The sauna facilities were magnificent and private access to the lake was worth the entire trip! They even gave us a gift of salt when we checked out.

Lovely view over Attersee.

Lovely view over Attersee. The only problem we had was with Booking.com. We arrived early evening, and the Gasthhof Landeroith did not have any information from Booking.com that we had previously booked and paid. I spent about 47 minutes on hold with Booking.com, during which my wife secured the room and paid again with the same credit card. We then had to go through the process of resolving the double payment. Not sure if the fault was with Gasthof Landeroith or with Booking. It did get resolved but we had no problems with our other reservations with Booking.com the nights before and after.

We were here in the low season most things were closed, the lake is superb and great in the summer however the village needs a little more in way of evening recreation perhaps another restaurant and a bar. The public bathing spot is not to be missed its clan and has all the facilities you need There is a local SPAR supermarket which has everything you need with ample parking

Beautiful place with clear like sea water. However this place is not dog friendly. Dogs are not allowed anywhere around the lake which is very sad. So if you are looking for a place where you can enjoy time with your dog, look elsewhere.

Great value for money and a perfect location – just a few minutes walk from the Attersee shore and two public beaches in Weyregg. The rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff are relaxed and easy-going. I’ve stayed here several times during my motorbike trips through the Salzkammergut, and I simply love it. Whenever I see free rooms that match my travel dates, I never hesitate to book.

This place near Attersee is just wonderful if you like water and mountains. Although the hotel is next to the road, it was peaceful there. The stuff is professional, very kind and helpful. If you also eat at the restaurant, all I had was delicious and their apple cake is just top one.
