Everything perfect, from the smooth process to the comfortable parking to the very good location, very good to watch the sunrise (I did not, I woke up a bit later, but it's very clear to see it from the balcony). You have basically everything you need inside the house, and beyond. Annie was great in sharing all the details and supporting us.

Lovely little town with beautiful vistas.

Lovely little town with beautiful vistas. You can enjoy just Bicheno or use it as a base to explore other interesting and beautiful places. The drive from Hobart is amazing with good roads and picturesque scenery. Loved it!! Bicheno is easy to get around and the Food and Brew Cafe was delightful. The Bicheno beams laser light show was enjoyable....an event in the winter. It was chilly but a more comfortable temperature than Hobart in July, but hey we were here in winter

A very beautiful part of Tasmania and Australia.

A very beautiful part of Tasmania and Australia. The devils in the dark and the penguins were both fantastic tours. The Lobster Shack should NOT be missed. Just a wonderful place to have visited and I would return again anytime I could!

Bicheno is a lovely small town, the natural beauty of the east coast of Tasmania is honestly spectacular. Some nice coffee places with a surprisingly excellent patisserie in this corner of the world :)

Bicheno was the last location on our trip to Tasmania and it...

Bicheno was the last location on our trip to Tasmania and it did not disappoint. Recently named the in the Australian Traveller best town in Aus, Bicheno has some of the most delicious food options, a couple of lovely homewares, fashion and gift shops, great coffee, and plenty to see and do. We enjoyed seeing giant sting rays at the boat ramp, visited the blowhole, ate fresh (and local) fish, went on a penguin tour and so much more. It is the kind of town where you can do almost nothing at all, or fill your trip with lots of options. It is very much a safe and friendly seaside escape. I only wish our stay was extended by another week.

Bicheno has just been named the best city in Australia- I...

Bicheno has just been named the best city in Australia- I totally agree! It’s friendly , peaceful, beautiful beaches and has a vibe like no other . The bakery is excellent and has the friendliest staff . The RSL has the best roasts , coffee is great , and I can always grab a great item at the surf shops . The eateries are great- The Lobster shack has amazing fresh fish . It is a place I can be so happy and relaxed The visuals of the most clear , aqua water is very therapeutic.

Bicheno is a beautiful little coastal town with a relaxed and peaceful vibe. The scenery is stunning, with gorgeous ocean views, lovely beaches, and plenty of great spots to walk and unwind. It feels quiet and charming, but still has enough cafes, restaurants, and local attractions to keep things interesting. A perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy the natural beauty of Tasmania. The Penguin tours seem a little pricey. We did try and see them (locals tip) but had no luck,

The School House in the Goal House Cottages was our top pick for accommodation amongst our group of four friends, when we spent ten days in Tasmania. From the amazing welcome of the heat pump running (on a wet cold day) and a delicious bottle of wine in the fridge, to the beautiful, funky olde worlde charm of the cottage and care our host obviously puts into her properties, we were Won Over. Great position, beautifully clean and comfortable, it has a charm and warmth of its own.

The Wheel House is a great little self contained unit that has all the facilities you need for a short stay in Bicheno. It is close to the beach so great for walks. The continental breakfast was very basic with cereal and toast. The host was pleasant and left us to our own devices.
