Staying at Safari Lodge in Cape Tribulation was an unforgettable experience. The location is incredible—right in the middle of the rainforest and just minutes from the beach. Waking up surrounded by nature and hearing the sounds of the jungle was something special. The lodge itself was clean, comfortable, and had a really relaxed vibe. The pool area was perfect for cooling off after exploring, and the staff were friendly and welcoming the entire time. It felt like a great mix of adventure and comfort. Cape Tribulation is such a unique place where the rainforest meets the reef, and Safari Lodge is the perfect base to explore it. If you’re looking for a laid-back stay immersed in nature, I’d definitely recommend it.

I stayed in the Daintree without a car. PK's was therefore an excellent location for me. I was able to reach the nearby stunning beach (Cape Tribulation) in a few minutes and there were extensive walks on boardwalks through unspoilt tropical rainforest and mangroves, which were incredible. There was a shop next door with a range of foods and souvenirs. I enjoyed excellent meals and drinks in PK's restaurant/bar area and I also loved swimming in the pool. The staff were very kind and helpful. I enjoyed my stay there very much.

The location is quite perfect, in the middle of the forest. Very secluded. Room very comfortable and air conditioner worked well. Continental breakfast was plentiful and staff happy to give advice. We had dinner, which was good value, in such a lovely setting. The pool came in handy.

We started our adventure with a night walk through the rainforest with an experienced guide, which was fascinating. The next morning was spent horseriding, first through the rainforest and then on the beach and in the water. On the way home we did ziplining in the rainforest, which was scary at first because you start at a substantial height but once you get going it was great fun and very safe. Don't miss treating yourself to a visit to the Daintree ice cream company, they grow their own tropical fruit and make it themselves.

Cape Tribulation is an amazing, beautiful place.

Cape Tribulation is an amazing, beautiful place. You can walk along the long, beautiful beach with the ocean on one side and tropical rainforest on the other. When you walk back into the rainforest you are on a boardwalk which takes you through huge mangroves then through the tropical rainforest with a stunning variety of rainforest trees and other plants. You see lots of butterflies as well as birds, goannas and fruit bats. It is a place that fills you with awe.

Wonderful area with lots of natural attractions. Highly recommended for nature lovers, hikers and anyone who wants to get away from it all. Getting away from it all includes not a whole lot of phone reception, so take a printed map. Limited groceries available so if you are self catering best to shop beforehand in Cairns or Mossman.

A beautiful, airy, spacious home that was meticulously cleaned. The cottage was set in a gorgeous garden where giant, blue Ulysses butterflies fluttered, where cassowaries visited. The kitchen allowed for easy meal preparation. The hosts were friendly and provided good tourist information. The cottage has a glimpse of the sea, in between 2 smaller cottages that are between the road and the larger cottage we enjoyed. Thornton beach is beautiful, with firm white sand which for great walking (no swimming advised because of crocodiles). A vehicle is strongly recommended in Daintree.

The road in has been heavily impacted by weather events so a slow trip in and out. One lane in places. We were greeted by a beautiful Ulysses butterfly on arrival and a cassowary chick and its dad the next morning. Very special.

I didn't get to like anything. After booking I was locked out. Arrived late but was not given access. I received an email saying that they couldn't take payment, but when you are driving on dark roads at 100km/hr you don't get to read emails. I have used many hotels on Booking.Com. Many leave keys in lock boxes or in safes for late travelers. Not this hotel. So if you expect to be late, expect to be shut out.

Our stay at could not have been better. The hotel is located in a privileged location, close to all the main attractions at Daintree and, at the same time, in a very secluded and peaceful place. The facilities are great and the design is very welcoming. Lillian was such an amazing host, who provided us with everything we needed, as well with awesome recommendations, and was always available when we needed.

Not much , cabins overpriced for not having the basics , kettle , cups etc . Booked two rooms, the family room was a disaster, fan to close to the kids bunks , no cupboards, drawers , one blanket for 3 beds , totally understaffed and below backpacker accommodation at a price that was too expensive, just better than a tent .

Situated slightly beyond Cape Tribulation village, this property stands as the final stop before the gravel road. However, with a car, traveling to and from was effortless. Our stay was tranquil, complemented by a delightful dinner at a nearby restaurant. The staff was amicable, and the rooms were pristine.
