Beach was lovely.
Beach was lovely. Not enough shops at Copacabana, but more shops only 10/15 min away. If you want to go to the beach every day, Copacabana is ideal. We had a cold drink at 'The Bees Knees'. Small but nice café. The little grocery shop is very expensive, but it's open until 7pm if you need something desperately.

I had not been there before, whole area is built up with homes, no units or high rise, it seems very few sites are vacant, the roads snake around the hills randomly, a very relaxed slow feel about the small shopping area.
It has a Surf Life Saving club house. The beach curves around the whole of the bay area. Theres a small selection of restaurants and cafes, a local favourite is Burnt Honey bakery who serve great coffee, baked goods and bread. Close to other beaches and shopping centres on the central coast.

Great beach life, very friendly locals.
Great beach life, very friendly locals. Super dog friendly area. Fantastic restaurant and cafes. Lots of gluten free options. Lady Copa might be one of the best Italian restaurants. Avoca beach and near by small township are less than 10 minutes drive.

The beaches are perfect and dog friendly.
The beaches are perfect and dog friendly. There were some great walking tracks and the home was central and only a short car ride to all the places we wanted to go to. Avoca Bowling Club was excellent with great meals and atmosphere

Copacabana is the typical Central Coast seaside village.
Copacabana is the typical Central Coast seaside village. The beach walk is a good one and if you enjoy the sound of the ocean as you go to sleep, then Copa will be good for you!
It has the basic shopping services with more varied offerings to be found at nearby Avoca Beach, Terrigal, Kinkumber and Erina Fair Shopping Centres.
Much of the Central Coast is available by car in an hour or so. Recommend inland Morphet and all areas around Brisbane Waters.

Copacabana is a beautiful little coastal town with lots of hidden jems. Burnt honey bakery had delicious pastries for breakfast, well worth the line up. A sit down breaky/lunch is also a must at Cabana cafe is also a must, really affordable and delicious food with a view of the water.
The ocean as Copacabana was a little rough, but it is only a 5 minute drive to Avoca beach and 20 minutes from Terrigal so wasn't a big deal. It was actually preferred, as Copacabana is much quieter and more affordable! Looking forward to when we can visit again.

Great location just behind the shops at Copacabana beach. Bit dated but overall very comfortable and has everything you need. We booked the two bedroom apartment and it was very spacious with the master upstairs with its own separate bathroom and kitchenette great if you are sharing with family or friends. Was good to have access to a pool as the beach was more suitable for older kids with bigger waves. We visited Avoca beach and McMaster beach as very close by and Terrigal for dinner so lots to do.

Self catering. Great SLS Cafe during day , eating options a little restricted at Copacabana area in evening but it was Easter so I went to Avoca
More of a surfers beach but there is a rock pool for the less adventurous
