AustraliaLovely! Beautiful balcony, the staff were so kind! Comfortable bed and a really cute town! :) Loved how there were many Christmas decorations and also how the gardens looked. Great shower/bathroom as well. 10/10 and again really kind and excellent staff!

Very clean town friendly people.
Very clean town friendly people. More shops open on the weekends would've been geeat. Especially the bakery. Pub meal was great Donald pub. Had around 16 people there for dinner and everyone was happy with the meals.

Donald is a quite little town.
Donald is a quite little town. Many closed stores, but still has life in the town. 3 pubs and a small supermarket. Not the place to be if you want to be entertained. Good walking tracks around town to tourist and historic places.

Very quiet little town, but the local pub has a good meal on...
Very quiet little town, but the local pub has a good meal on offer. A few mosquitoes and bugs around at dusk(but that’s most of Australia anyway) , but the hotel supplied a ‘burn off’ smoke repellant for the terrace area, which worked pretty well.

Donald is a quiet town but has a lot of little attractions...
Donald is a quiet town but has a lot of little attractions to do if there for a stay over. Lots of well maintained tracks down alone the river. Old train station park for kids to explore.
Good old home style (large) meals available at the pubs or the local cafes.

Donald Riverside Motel was a very pleasant surprise for us. The owners have thought of their customer 's comfort. We enjoyed the terrace over looking the river. It was handy for us to enjoy our meals out there. They even had a community area with a BBQ and table and chairs. The room had everything we needed. The bathroom was exceptional. We hope to be back

This is a small motel on the northern edge of Donald. It is a little old fashioned but the bed was comfortable and the bathrooms are newly renovated. Each room has a deck that overlooks a branch of the Richardson River and the surrounding nature reserve. It was a very pleasant outlook and made for a quiet night. We enjoyed our stay.

We stopped at the Donald Riverside Motel on our way from Mildura to Torquay. It was a simple yet wonderful place to stop - clean and tidy, staff were very friendly and helpful. They had a portacot set up ready for our baby. The view of the river and gums was stunning. We loved it!
