Not your normal Pub Hotel. You check in at the Pub but the rooms are a separate building. Quiet, large rooms with good bathrooms. I definitely recommend this as a stop from Perth. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean.

As a bonus we received a complimentary upgrade which was close to ocean and the fire place where everyone socialised in the evening. Staff in office both on Thursday when I confirmed our booking as well as the couple on Sunday morning as we left were all lovely people,

The chalet had everything we needed for our stay. It was cosy and comfortable. The tea and coffee was a nice touch for being away from home. Very close to the beach and other facilities like bars, etc. A stone throw from Dongara that has great food and shops as well. Short drive to Geraldton with a great museum and everything else you may need for a holiday. We enjoyed our trip.

The place is good and closer to the shops and in the middle...

The place is good and closer to the shops and in the middle of town. Its not far from the beach. I was there for work but I wouldn't mind to come back for a visit to explore the town and the beach

Dongara is an ideal stopping place driving up from Perth if...

Dongara is an ideal stopping place driving up from Perth if you find more than say 350km a day too much. The town itself has grown over the years and coupled with Port Denison next door has a lot of attractions nearby if you want to stay a few days. For instance Greenough historical town site, Walkaway town site and Ellendale Pool to pick a few at random. All worth calling to see if you've never been to this part of WA before. Of course the Dongara bakery is a "must stop at" place for cakes and tempting treats.

Dongara is a great location.

Dongara is a great location. To have the beach nearby and then wildflowers and rural communities near as well. Though it was winter it was still wonderful to catch the sunset at the beach. Restaurants were fabulous and the town had a good vibe.

Unfortunately we did not have time to relax and enjoy Dongara, Seaspray park or beach fully. We visited to celebrate a lady turning 100 years of age who is living in Dongara. Hopefully we can come again soon to relax and explore more.

Nice place but - No info about facilities or town given. Noisy bathroom extraction fan all night. Poor curtains for light blackout in room, no PowerPoints near bed.restaurant poor layout, no water offered - free breakfast = $50 voucher but full breakfast $25 each did not include coffee or juice - had to pay extra $9

I loved the quaitness of the accomodation.

I loved the quaitness of the accomodation. The whole town was decorated in pink for Breast Cancer awareness. The community spirit of the town was contagious. I even did half my Christmas shopping in a little shop called Twyford and Co!!! Exceptional quality giftware. Loved the peaceful garden at accomodation.

The apartment was very well equipped, clean and comfortable . The pool area was a lovely place to relax in the shade after enjoying the beach. This is our second time staying at Seaspray in Dongara and would definitely recommend it for a break away.
