The Commercial is an old fashioned Australian Pub it does not have on suites but the showers were clean the owners were really great we were delayed considerably in getting back to the hotels due to us misjudging just how far we had traveled whilst sight seeing on the Wheatbelt Way, they kept the kitchen open for us and the meals left us embarrassed because there was way more than we expected in each serve. Just like pub meals used to be. The Pub is run by a Mother and Father team with a lovely young daughter acting as our waitress. Don't expect a five star hotel but good service and a very friendly publican that could not do enough for us makes it all worth while.

We should have done this trip in Spring but it was the only time we could get together with my Son and his wife as they are both Fly In Fly Out workers. Dowerin is a really clean town and who ever does the public toilets in the main street I would like to employ down here where we live our Shire struggles to keep toilet paper in the ones here, these were clean smelt like a garden to quote my significant other of some 58 years. I Have drone and they even cater for me near the town emblem a Tin Dog is the town name laid out the emblem a credit to the local school for its design. A worth while trip if you like photography Check with the Shire for the information re the Wheatbelt Way. We are going back in September when the Wildflowers are out and the Canola in flower. I have not downloaded my camera yet so have no photos but will try to get them uploaded later in the week.

While booking on Booking.com, it was confirmed that the room would have a private bathroom. However, after checking in, we found there was none. It was misleading and a misrepresentation of the facility.
