Gecko logde is superb, specially the breakfast, fresh bread make with scratch, too good. Other things at Gecko was Morning coffee the young boy made was superb. He always take care, very humble and polite. Even the owner was very nice he cut fresh fruit of bowl every morning, 7 different types of fruit made our day. It was easy to get around the sunset cruise and the Kalbarri National park.. we couldn't finish Kalbarri National park in 1 day. Next time we visit again.

Kalbarri is a great place for young to middle-aged people with a car. We went by coach that used to stop at the Riverside Holiday Apartments, but now stops at the Kalbarri Motor Hotel, which is 1.5 kilometres from the Riverside. Unfortunately, the only taxi in Kalbarri was out of action as the driver was ill, so we had to walk everywhere, which was difficult for us as we are elderly.

Beautiful place for a holiday, so much to see and do.

Beautiful place for a holiday, so much to see and do. First stop should be the Information Centre, the ladies there were so informative, pick up the free travel guide booklet for everything you need to know. Highlights were the Skywalk, Natures Window, all the walk trails, our favourite was Pot Alley Beach and the Ross Graham River Trail. Also a must see is the Natural Bridge and the Island Rock Boardwalk, Eagle Gorge another must see. Another highlight was the Sunset Coastal Cliff cruise on the Reefwalker - so much fun and take your wine and nibbles on board. We purchased the 5 day pass to the National Park, only $13 more than the day pass so well worth it. Eat & drink you can't go past Finlays, and also the Pelican Cafe for breakfast after watching the Pelicans being fed. The IGA has everything you need, the fresh salads were great. Fishing was great, beaches beautiful - only wish we could of stayed in Kalbarri longer, will definately be back :)

It's a very different experience for a coastal place.

It's a very different experience for a coastal place. Much less about the beaches as they aren't great compared to much of the WA coastline. But beautiful walks along the coast and in the gorges, really nice people, very chilled

Beautiful little town. Lots to do.

Beautiful little town. Lots to do. Whether you go and hike the gorges, surf the breaks, check out dolphins and whales, take a cruise out for fishing or site seeing, or spend time swimming, boating or fishing on the river, there is something for everyone - even a little book shop 😀. The Pelican Cafe has great iced coffee. There are two yes two bakeries (check them both out - you wont be sorry) There are heritage sites and towns galore with a half day or less round trip... Its a small town with small town vibes, its friendly and quiet and restful...

Shah was so accommodating and having the use of the kitchen was invaluable when Kalbarri shutdown because of a cyclone. We were unable to travel as planned and it wasn't a problem to stay another day
