This property is a beautiful and cosy suite in the middle of a leafy hillside in Lorne with an amazing ocean view. The property was well-equipped and very clean. There was a fireplace, which made our experience even better. The balcony was also great. We enjoyed the scene and the fresh air. Overall, this is one of those places that we would love to return to again whenever we are back in Lorne. A highly recommended place to experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Cumberland Resort in Lorne with our family. The self-contained apartment was spacious, clean, and very well equipped, which made our stay comfortable and relaxing. The location is excellent, close to the beach, shops, and everything you need in Lorne. The overall experience was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable family stay in Lorne.

Lorne is a great town, with plenty of accomodation, a large pier, shops, cafes, restaurants, a surf club with bar/food and a pub with a view of the ocean. The beaches are ‘stunning’ with gorgeous views from various walking tracks. A lovely river area, caravan park and plenty of areas to walk.

Lovely walks across back of beach and round to pier. Teddy's lookout is a must for views. Beach is beautiful for swimming and surfing I couldn't go and see the falls in Otways as closed due to recent flooding.

Our visit to Lorne was enjoyable, thanks to the combination of good dining options, hospitable people, and the abundance of activities available in this pleasant beachside destination. The restaurants in the area fulfilled our expectations, providing satisfying meals and service. Additionally, the locals were friendly and contributed to a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. There is a wide range of activities on offer, giving visitors plenty to choose from during their time here. The region is located along the coast, offering beautiful beachfront scenery and opportunities to enjoy the seaside. The staff at the information center were welcoming and helpful. The property is as described and is close to the city centre. The view of the ocean from the property is great. The property was clean upon arrival and is very spacious for a group of five people. It is great that a tennis table is available for us to play too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property and it is value for money, as compared to the hotels. Whether you are coming to Lorne for business or pleasure, we highly recommend staying at this property, especially if you have a larger group.

Very accurate listing. The view was fantastic over Lorne beach with a little balcony. Nice picnic tables between building blocks with good view so we made use of those. The bed was comfy and bathroom clean (did have to step down into the spa bath to shower). The apartment itself was very spacious. There was a handy stairwell (steep) down to the main street, absolutely prime location. Was a little pricey but well worth it for what you get, and we managed to book last minute during the busy season!

Loved the location not far from town. Lorne, the Great Ocean Road and the Otways were also just stunning! The house itself was fantastic, very modern, clean and everything was as described. The host (Julie) was also very helpful. The security Bond was returned within 24 hours which was unexpected. All-in-all, a great holiday house and I would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arose.

We liked the location of the hotel and the room was well stocked with tea and coffee facilities and also a toaster and crockery and cutlery, which would have been useful for a longer stay. The included breakfast was great.
