The room was very very spacious and the waterfall shower was lovely. The hotel was modern and had comfortable beds and a pool and small gym. Secure elevators gave us peace of mind.

We felt so well fed we skipped lunch most days

We felt so well fed we skipped lunch most days Lodge about 5 mins from safari park so one could call and arrange transport to and fro fairly easily ( no shuttle bus service , not warranted ) Whilst no TV , that was actually a bonus in many ways Animal spotting from one’s tent or main lodge was enjoyable

Book the watering hole view room and request binoculars, if they are not in the room. Make sure you book a dawn or dusk tour with the hotel. Make sure you pack your bathers if you want to go and relax at the day spa or go for swim in one of the two pools.

Accommodation was excellent but Resort location was a little...

Accommodation was excellent but Resort location was a little confusing relative to Zoo and its animals and whether the Sunset and Sunrise Tours from the Resort were worthwhile or not at the price. We didn't take the tours but perhaps we should have.

A highlight of our stay was the dawn safari.

A highlight of our stay was the dawn safari. A unique experience seeing wildlife close up. Our guide/driver Chris was so knowledgeable and made this adventure a great addition to our time at the safari park.

Loved the place but miss communication about a group...

Loved the place but miss communication about a group restaurant booking was not great. Lack of them not answering an email regarding this. The staff were very helpful. To see animals do close was an absolute delight.

The sunset safari was awesome so worth doing .

The sunset safari was awesome so worth doing . The hotel was amazing the staff were exceptional . I feel it is totally worth the money and in hindsight we should’ve just paid the extra for the room overlooking the waterhole . Just do it ! The amazing work they are doing saving these (some near extinct) animals is great to see . The restaurant was great , the pools amazing . In South Adelaide you wake up feeling you’re in Africa . Rooms were comfortable but I think it’s more about the view .
