A friendly town with all the essentials.

A friendly town with all the essentials. Easy place to drive in. Close to Mackay. The local airport is small by efficient. Mackay airport is only 2 hours away. The Moranbah Coles is large and everything is fresh. The local bakery is brilliant. The vibe is easy going, relaxed and friendly.

We visited Oaks Moranbah due to illness of a family member. The trip was an emotional and distressing time and the staff at Oaks Moranbah went above and beyond making our trip easier than it could have been, including an upgrade to accommodate another family member attending at the last minute. We will be forever grateful for their ongoing assistance during our stay.

We were travlers travelling through Moranbah for a one night stop over. The place is basic but works for a quick stopover or, as intended, FIFO workers to bring home a takeaway meal and go to bed before another 12 hour shift.
