Australiathe room was ultra clean and spacious. the Beds comfortable. In a good location with the visitor Centre and museum across the road and the pub adjoining the rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was included - which was a hot breakfast with about 5 options, also juice, cereal as well.

AustraliaThe hotel is very well planned with accommodation at the rear (away from highway noise) and the bar & restaurant just a short walk away. The staff are friendly, bar service is prompt and the meals are great. We try to stay here whenever we travel through the area.

I was there to celebrate 50 years of Moura State High School...
I was there to celebrate 50 years of Moura State High School. Favourite places included the Museum, the Memorial, the schools, the mine and the home we built and lived in for 5 years. Eating places included the hotel/motel, RSL, cafe on the Dawson Highway and at Kianga Hall where a local caterer provided excellent food. It is really easy to drive around Moura. Great activities include swimming at the pool, parks, many sporting areas and exploring the area e.g. mine, museum, Dawson River, surrounding pastoral and agricultural areas and towns such as Theodore, Banana and Baralaba.

The purpose of the trip was to visit the new museum & to catch up with old workmates in the process. We had two sesions in the museum & met up with several friends in the process.
The museum and the memorial to the lost mining personel is a great credit to all the people of Moura who were involved in the gathering of information and setup of the whole site.

Short stay on the way through to Hervey Bay, but it was lovely to see the silo art and also the miners’ memorial (sobering to say the least); it was a fitting tribute to these men.
Sadly, because it was that in between Christmas and New Year period, one of the best cafes, The Atmosphere Cafe, was closed. A lovely employee at the Coal and Cattle Hotel recommended it.

We were warned of snakes, but thankfully didn't see any. Room was superb and staff helpful and friendly. We were in Moura to visit our son & family and celebrate our 65th Wedding Anniversary and couldn't have had a better place to stay.l

Clean, well equipped, quiet. Loved the breakfast concept of being able to order the day before and have it delivered so you don’t have to worry about breakfast. All hotels should do this!
