I liked everything. It's a new stylish hotel, very clean and comfortable. It has a nice restaurant with a greenery outdoor space and the staff is very friendly. The location is perfect. You have a big mall walking by and the city center is just 20min by car. I will stay again if I return to Brisbane.

Service is what made me select 10/10. Booked on behalf of my parents. Special mention to the staff that looked after them as well as Chrissy and Brigette for going the extra mile is being flexible during the booking process. Thank you team will be sure to come back when in Brisbane.

FAQs about hotels in Brisbane

Sun-drenched & Leafy

At the meeting point of Australia’s Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, laid-back Brisbane is spread around the meandering river running through it. The river’s artsy South Bank is home to Australia’s largest modern art gallery, tranquil gardens and an artificial beach. Just across the river is the towering skyline of Brisbane's central business district, the location of many hotels in central Brisbane.

Nearby are the botanic gardens and Queen Street Mall, the most popular Brisbane shopping spot. There are more shopping centers all over the city, and the out-of-town malls include one in the Indooroopilly suburb by the foothills of Mount Coot-tha.

This green hill offers fabulous city views and has a planetarium, nature reserve and yet more botanic gardens. In Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to the south, you can hug one of the lovable animals, while Australia Zoo – Steve Irwin’s legacy – is a good day trip.

Brisbane is a very leafy city and one of its parks, Wickham Park, contains the Old Windmill, Brisbane’s oldest building. To the northeast, the Fortitude Valley suburb is known for its vibrant music scene and Chinatown. Across the river in Woolloongabba is The Gabba or Brisbane Cricket Ground, and nearby is the bohemian West End district.

Booking.com has plenty of downtown hotels, and other accommodations near Brisbane Airport in a northeastern coastal suburb.

This is not a crowded city.

This is not a crowded city. Grey Street has lots of food options: Greek, Japanese and more. The bus and train network is extensive and only costs a flat fee of 50 Australian cents per ride. Ride on the CityCat for a view of the city from Brisbane River. This is also 50 cents per ride. Go for a walk on the Walter Taylor Bridge. It's lovely and scenic.

Fortitude Valley is the Armpit of Brisbane, had we have known, we would not have stayed there, too many druggies, mental illness, cops arresting people constantly. It was an awful place to walk around. Stay elsewhere!

I have always been a massive fan of Brisbane.

I have always been a massive fan of Brisbane. I have family there so I am a little biased. However, there is a lot going for it, heaps of things to do and see and I find every time I visit, there is always new improvements happening and on the go. The food culture is great and there is heaps of history worth exploring.

I have not been to Brisbane in a very long time.

I have not been to Brisbane in a very long time. This time I had 4 days to explore. Brisbane is a beautiful city. Not crazy like other capital cities but a lot going on. Walked a lot to see some highlights. The Skywalk was lovely. Had a drink & snack while there. Had breakfast by the river. The mall was good. Loved my time.

+ beds were very comfortable + Right across the road to the Botanic gardens and easy walk to other parts of the CBD. Even 20min walk to Southbank + Quiet room and hotel + Lovely staff, appreciated being able to leave our car for a few extra hours after checkout so we could go have lunch in the city + Lovely old-school decor - only one elevator was working and it was a bit slow

The apartments are in a convenient location and walkable to the CBD, Roma Street and Central stations. I also walked from here to Southbank in around 25 minutes. The reception staff were very friendly and it was easy to check-in and get settled. This was one of the few properties we viewed in Brisbane that had parking - we really appreciated this. Good security at the property.
